Thanks Frans. Sometimes I look at an image a year later and wonder why I rated it at all and once in a great while I look at an image I was about to discard and find something new. |

LC - Thanks for your suggestions/comments. Have looked many times at this image. I don't think one can go wrong with any of these variants, but there are tradeoffs. At this moment I prefer the original for the feeling of the very early morning and the deep saturation. Ask me tomorrow and I may prefer one of the variants you suggest. |

Jack:
After a second read, did you mean Bosque or Loess Bluffs?

I am both chagrined and pleased to have learned of this wonderful place. Hope to get there frequently from now on. It probably also means that there are lots of places yet to discover. |

Nice to get a two for one facing the same direction. Cropping a little more would be fine, but I also like the V made by the two outside branches. |

Terrific image! Would darkening the white portion of the background improve the separation of the subject? |

It was a migration way stop in Missouri, Loess Bluffs, along the Missouri flood plane. I have had the pleasure of visiting Bosque once, and it is a real treat. |
