Excellent capture Frans. Agree with other comments. Nice complementary colors. Very pleasing to look at, especially up here in Wisconsin during the winter. |

Ginny - Thanks for your comments. Getting the eyes to be more prominent is above my pay grade, at least for now. I have found the falling snow really interferes with getting eye detail. I am going to experiment with manual mode the next time I am in a similar situation to see of that improves eye capture. |

Very well done. Excellent composition and great detail. The white around the neck is a bit hot, but not much of a complaint. Did you have your Z9 set to animal, eye detection mode?
Never been to Florida. Is the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge a good place to photograph birds? |

I agree with Jack's comments. Also, I wonder if you can darken the bright area behind the orchid? My eye tends to go to the brightest area. Was this image taken handheld or on a tripod? Recommend tripod if possible, to improve the sharpness a bit. |

Thanks for your comment. I did experiment with increasing the saturation, but felt it made image colors look unnatural. Perhaps if I were more skilled at Photoshop I could improve the buck's colors. |
