A general request. I dabble in Camera Raw and Photoshop but would like to become more proficient. Any suggestions for a basic step by step Photoshop tutorial that I can purchase/view online? I want to build a foundation. Thanks, David |

Very pleasing image. Agree, the color combination works well. Wonder if a little more depth of field would have improved the left side of the image and still maintained bokeh? |

Stephen, thanks for your comment/question.
This image was taken just as the sun was cresting the hill on the right side the bison. I wanted to capture the early morning feel of the soft light, and maintain a bit of mystery by exposing just enough of the eyes to make it interesting. And enough light to capture the dust the bull was kicking up as he walked toward me without it overwhelming the rest of the image. |

Nice capture and pleasing bokeh. I am wondering what is it that looks like a metal ring just in front of the tail feathers? |

Nice light. Reflections in the water add to the composition. Wing position is not bad since you have 3 birds, each with 1/3 of the wing motion. You could try cropping more of the right side to see if it makes the image a bit more dynamic. |
