7 Aug 25 Comment There is an animal (a horse?) lying on the ground in the lower part of the image. This could have been removed using PS or another software. The missing part of the back feet creates a sense of 'incompleteness'. The details of the mane and tail are fine as is the conversion to black and white. Aug 12th

7 Aug 25 Comment As Butch mentioned, the background is distracting.One cannot separate the prey from the background(the colour of the captured bird and the colour of the ground). The image tells a story. Aug 7th
7 Aug 25 Comment This cloud is called cumulonimbus mammatus. It generates thunderstorms and heavy rainfall and very often hail(I worked as a meteorological technician!).I presume that the photo was taken when the sun was setting.
I find that the photo lacks a good point of interest (the cloud?). However, the colours are ok.		 Aug 7th

75 Aug 25 Comment The outer petals are a bit soft, while the center part is sharp (due to f4 aperture?). The three blurred flowers at the right in the background distract the viewer. The contrast of the flower with the green background is good.
I think that it is common that we do not see insects on flowers when taking the picture. We see them later when doing the processing.		 Aug 12th
