Than, I like this image exactly the way it is presented. To me it is a documentary of a way of life that most of us are totally unfamiliar with. It has huge visual impact and interest. The only thing I might change is the turquoise roof in the upper left. It just doesn't fit. Well done. |

Ingrid, this is an absolutely gorgeous landscape. It is perfectly cropped and a strong composition. There are no distracting elements in the frame and all technical aspects to me are outstanding. I, too, wouldn't change a thing. |

Dear Martha, the blue was just too much for me. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty to play with your image. I converted to monochrome and did a little burning and level adjustments. As a B&W image I think it now has visual impact and interest. Please let me know what you think? |

Leslie, very nice image of a Goldfinch on Thistle. Looks like he is feeding or nest building. Leslie, is the breeding plumage much different than the above plumage? Background is super and the Finch and thistle is tack sharp with good definition. This image displays the peak of action in a tight crop and I like it a lot. |

Mike, your Graylag is a magnificent bird. Outstanding colors and detail. You did a great job freezing the the action and having sharpness where needed. Unusual color non distracting background but it workso nicely. Would be a super image with or without the gull. |

Beautifully exposed body and head. Love the turn of the head angle. Wish there was a little more detail in the tail. Super background but do agree with others that a little cropping would be in order. Well caught Ted. |

Veysi this is an outstanding image in what I would consider very difficult shooting conditions. Motion, water and white make it tough but you were totally successful. The fish in his mouth with the eye is amazing and a huge added bonus. Very strong composition. |

Sharlana, thank you for your comments. In my image for the competition which went out week ago I did lighten his face. That lady in the back seat bothered me also but I couldn't figure out what to do with her other than cloning het out. The people objects on the building are all part of this Havana Art Biennial that they have every two years. Everywhere you go during this period there is something visually amazing to see and photograph. |

Tom, you created an excellent image. Toning down the track, adding the blur and cropping out the person really made it pop. I wish that pole wasn't there. Hope you don't mind I took the liberty to remove it. What do you think? |

Outstanding image Sharlana. Tried to imagine the image without that tree but the more I looked at it the tree gives it depth and dimension. The lighting accentuates the story and the image definitely displays reaction. Your colors are right on and sharpness in critical areas is perfect. Question for you Sharlana. How close were you to this big fellow? 70-200, you couldn't have been to far away. Bison can be aggressive and unpredictable. I think I would have been moving away! |

Very nice image of a re-enactment. We have a very large re-enactment and battle in northern Florida called the Battle of Olustee. Great for photographers! The only thing that I found distracting were the two people in the background so I removed them. Also toned down the smoke and sky slightly. Hope you don't mind Keith that I took the liberty to play with your image. Perfectly cropped image and a very balanced composition. |

Richard , I love this image. Love the simplicity and detail. I like your rendition and also Donalds. In yours the tree is the absolute subject but in Donalds your eye goes back and forth between the valley and the tree. It is perfectly cropped and VERY well balanced. |

Gerald, gorgeous image of a rough surf break. It has huge visual impact and interest. Excellent composition and all technical aspects are outstanding. I might consider cloning out the head and feet of a person in the lower left as it draws your attention to see if it is a rock or person. |

This is an amazing image John. I would think this could only exist in your mind or be done with AI. I do agree with the others that the top left is a little hot and toning it down a little would be a plus. I gave it a try but am sure you could do a much better job. Excellent composition and all technical aspects to me are outstanding. |

Nigel, I really like this sea/landscape with the exception of the build ing on the left. It seems to pull your eye away from the boats, glassey water and so on. Hope you don't mind but I removed it. This is an excellent composition and it has great color, sharpness and definition. Very interesting to look at. |

Mike, I really like this image. The shepherd and his horse are a strong, prominent subject, while the flock recedes and acts a soft background. It has real visual impact, and although the light is waning, it actually strengthens the narrative-perfectly capturing the quiet moment of bedding the sheep down for the night. Well done. |

Michele, The image shows a calm, well-balanced scene where architecture, nature, and landscape work together without competing. The chortens in the foreground provide structure and cultural grounding, while the weathered trees add movement and a sense of age. In the background, the mountain appears softly through atmospheric haze, giving depth without overpowering the frame. Love it! |
