6 Oct 25 Comment Ruth, I really like this image. I see what you mean about the hand but it is a necessary part of the story. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty to work on the eyes of the owl a little. Let me know what you think? Oct 11th

16 Oct 25 Comment Mohanan, I read this outstanding image different. I see the image as a whole and the bird is just a small part of it. I love all the colorful sharp waterlilys. Your crop with the sky being small since it lacks clouds is perfect. I would clone out the 3 small white objects at the pink line. Your editing is super! This is a very striking image. Oct 13th

21 Oct 25 Reply Thank you so much for your comments Marilyn Oct 24th
21 Oct 25 Reply Thank you so much Jim. All the small birds around this garden seemed to come to this large bronze statue/fountain to drink. Quite amazing! Oct 13th
21 Oct 25 Comment Michael, this is a near perfect image of a loon and chick. The birds are sharp and very detailed. Really like the transparency of the water. They are magnificent birds. Oct 12th
21 Oct 25 Comment Ted, I have to agree with you that a lot of the smaller birds are overlooked possibly because they are fast and more difficult to capture. Thanks for your comments Ted. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Reply Leslie, the big bird is a large bronze egret water fountain that seemed to attract a lot of bird coming for a drink. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Reply Thanks Mike, I thought this was an interesting catch. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Comment Marilyn, gorgeous tight crop, sharp as a tack image. Feathers, head and eye are amazing. Super background. Wouldn't change a thing. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Comment Leslie, I don't agree with you. I think your Cock-of-the-Rock is a near perfect in the wild shot. Perfectly cropped and your bird is sharp as a tack. You sure go to some amazing places. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Comment Beautiful Straw Bridge Lake image Mike. Wish I had that lake near me! The background really makes all the geese pop. Great job freezing action and having sharpness where needed. Quite striking! Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Comment Ted, very difficult, near impossible bird to shoot. Good job at catching anything at all. They are so fast and extremely spooky. Very good background. Great try Ted. Possibly if your speed was a little faster you could have stoped him but still a good grab shot. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Comment Don, very interesting image. I tried cropping the branches on the right but didn't like it. Cropping the cormorant tight would make it a record shot. Your image is very sharp and like Leslie said wish the amazing turquoise eye was more prominent. Like it! Just an FYI. Most photographers don't go to Gatorland anymore. They put a zip line over the pond and rockery and had an immediate 90% loss of migrating birds. The premiere place to shoot is The Alligator Farm in Saint Augustine during mating season in March, April & May. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Reply I use images that are as far back as 15 years. Mine are all over the board. All are acceptable and welcome. Oct 11th
21 Oct 25 Comment Jim, this is one of those few images that I wouldn't change a thing. Background is non distracting and the branch leads your eye directly to the bird. The bee brings it up another notch. Super catch Jim! Oct 11th

24 Oct 25 Comment Donald, this is a gorgeous tack sharp flower and your process for the background was masterful. With most primary subjects I do not like dead center but this works. Well done. Oct 13th

25 Oct 25 Comment Jennie, this is a gorgeous image. It is perfectly cropped and has great color, sharpness and definition. You caught this image at the peak of action and your editing is excellent. Well done! Oct 12th

45 Oct 25 Comment Paul, great job freezing the action and having sharpness where needed. It has a good story and to me the crop is perfect. Oct 30th

48 Oct 25 Reply Richard, thank you for your comments. I tried decreasing the space above the zebras and do like it. Oct 11th
48 Oct 25 Reply Bev, really like it! All his individual images are super. Oct 6th
48 Oct 25 Comment Richard, this is a tough one. Both images are excellent. They are cropped perfect and the position of the bee couldn't be any better. You did a good job freezing the action and having sharpness where needed. Toss-up??? Oct 5th
48 Oct 25 Comment Very nice image of a chickadee Donald. Like Bev's addition of some vibrance. Diid take a moment and add a catchlight and straighten the bird feeder. Nicely done. Oct 5th
48 Oct 25 Comment Stewart, really like this low key image. The lighting accentuates the mood. There are no distracting elements in the frame and it displays good emotional reaction. Oct 5th
48 Oct 25 Comment Bev, I don't know if this is an image of a picture or a collage of many images of this photographers work that you put together. Either way I like it! John Meehan was an outstanding photographer. As an instructor he must have been a great motivator. Oct 5th
48 Oct 25 Comment Bev, thank you for your comments on this image. I have modified it several ways over the past years and the high key white stripes has by far done the best in competitions. Here is another one with major stripe changes. What do you think? Oct 5th

52 Oct 25 Comment Ally, what an amazing shot of the young bobcat. You are sooo lucky. The face is an image in itself. It has great color, sharpness and definition especially in the face. This image has great visual impact and interest. Love it! Oct 30th

55 Oct 25 Comment Lori, this is a very interesting street scene. I like what you did in monochrome and I hope you don't mind that I took the liberty to play with your color image which is also super. The road serves as leading lines that draw the viewer's eye from the couple and cars to the bay and hill area, giving a sense of depth and mystery. This image has great visual impact and interest. Oct 12th
55 Oct 25 Comment Carol, absolutely a gorgeous image of a Lily. Most people shoot a flower and put it in the middle of the frame and it makes a static image. Your image is actually three images. The pad, the reflection and the lily and they fit like a puzzle. It has sharpness in all critical areas and it has a good non distracting background. Excellent!!! Oct 12th

71 Oct 25 Reply Dennis, thank you for your comments. Oct 24th
71 Oct 25 Reply Michele, I wish I had shot the image with the tree right or left of dead center. Not sure if it adds or detracts. Thank you for your views. Oct 24th
71 Oct 25 Reply John, I like your edit. Both images are good and the one with a dead tree seems to add depth possibly. Oct 24th
71 Oct 25 Reply Thank you for your comments Jim. I do see some flaws in it but they would be hard to overcome. Oct 11th
71 Oct 25 Reply Spring , I was hoping the the waterfall and the running water would lead you through the image to the old grist mill and grist wheel. I sort of like the dead tree in the foreground center but I could see where the image would be possibly better without it. I do see your point though. Oct 11th
71 Oct 25 Comment Spring, wouldn't change a thing. Really like the way the clouds on the right balance the mountains on the left. The valley pulls you right through it towards the mountains. Outstanding! Oct 11th
71 Oct 25 Comment Amazing images Michele. I have a different view entirely. Love the sharpness and detail of the mountains and trees of the original and the sky of your edited image. Either way it is a stunning image. Oct 11th
71 Oct 25 Comment Excellent image Dennis. The lighting accentuates the story and the people in it help. Wish the one person with a turquoise shirt had a darker shirt on because it draws your eye directly to it. Very well done. Oct 11th
71 Oct 25 Comment John, absolutely a gorgeous image. It is very seldom I look at an image and can't find something to tweak or change but this is one of them. Very striking!!! Oct 6th
