Karen, while scrolling through the many amazing images this one really caught my eye. I love the simplicity and detail. Your Egg Shell image is outstanding whereas with the original your eyes are pulled all over the place. This is a true example of the strength of simplicity. |

Butch, your image has great visual impact and interest. It also displays peak of action and is tack sharp. I really enjoyed your commentary and information. I can see you went through a lot to get this image but I think it really paid off. What us photographers do for a shot!!!! |

Ken, I think this is a very balanced and well done landscape. I especially like your exposure of all rocks, hills and tree. The lighting accentuates the mood. The only small suggestion I might make was to remove the small tree as it draws tour eye away from the larger tree. |

Butch, thank you for your comments. I definitely agree with you that eye level shots are definitely more interesting. Like the 180 also. |

Marilyn, excellent catch of aa Great White. Your exposure is right on. Very difficult to shoot white birds and maintain definition and detail but you definitely succeeded. The eye and pose is super. Very well done. |

Leslie, I really love this. Talk about telling a story, this one really hits a home run. The contrasting earth tone colors and then the vivid Caracaras makes it pop. Me being a terrible type A, I couldn't live with the cut off tail so I fixed it. Hope you don't mind. GREAT EYE! |

Great catch Mike. Shooting moving objects is so much fun but also very difficult. You nailed this one. Excellent feather detail. Great job freezing the action and having sharpness where needed. Seems like you have a lot of areas with water to shoot Mike. |

Don, gorgeous Tree Swallow. The iridescence and detail of the head and body is superb. Like Leslie noticed there is a slight bit of lime green on his lower breast that could easily be adjusted. Just my opinion but I would 180 flip everything so the branch would be a leading line into the subject. This should be on the wall in your home. |

Jim, your Yellow Finch is a work of art. The lighting accentuates the story and there are no distracting elements in the frame. The surrounding areas compliment the subject. This would do well in any competition. |

Jim, thank you for your comments. I consider the bird fair but the background bad to terrible. The night heron was continuously picking up twigs and objects for a nest. |

Outstanding image Richard. As Julia said, your post processing really made it pop. Your skewing of the column on each side was perfect. It really has impact and interest and has great colors, sharpness and definition. |

Hey Brad, outstanding image! Was going through each group checking out images and I got to this one and it just popped out. I can see where this was a lot of work and also lot of thought. I think this image would do super in any creative competition. It has a lot of visual impact and interest. No suggestions and I think you have a winner here. |

Stewart, your Portal is a very futuristic image. Love the sun in the top right. This is a strong composition. Hope you don't mind but I did remove the barge or dredge because it pulled your eye away from the Portal and I skewed the image slightly. Great eye! |

Bev, great job freezing the action and having sharpness where needed. Birds that have pure white on them are very very difficult to shoot. The right wing is totally blown out with no detail. I tried a fix but it is not true to life and not happy with it. Still a very nice image. |

Mike, this is what you see in Havana, Cuba. 500 year old buildings that are crumbling, new sky scrapers built by other countries and some of the old restored buildings which are magnificently restored by UNESCO. |

Mike, wish you caught it so you could see the face a little more. Still you certainly caught the goat at the peak of action. How long can goat stand on his back legs. I would be a little uncomfortable if I was walking through the woods and saw something like that. Hope you don't mind I made some adjustments to your goat. What do you think? |

Dennis, this is a very tranquil and peaceful image. Cropped perfectly and I really like the woman on the porch (very small detail) taking a picture back. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of removing the white mark and what I think was a red koi fish that was distracting. Very strong composition. |

Michele, this is probably the most interesting and has the most impact of any landscape I have ever seen. I now the sky and the fog in the valleys has a slight purplish tent but I have seen plenty of skies exactly like this. Very striking composition! |
