I am far from the last word but as far as I know, cloning is ok and the older non AI content aware is ok. Certainly worth it for a good image. |

Problem is many Clubs, State Photo Organizations and PSA are not allowing any AI. |

Mike, I tried to lighten under the right wing but I have a serious loss of definition and sharpness. Also darkened all the Lilly pads. Better or worse? |

Michael , your Tanager would win or do very well in any bird competition and so would Leslies. |

Very nice pano of your swans caught at the peak of action. Found Straws Bridge on Google Earth and it sure seems like a great waterfowl magnet. Like Michael said the lead swan and closer wing of the rear swan need to be toned down and that may give them more detail. Very nice catch Mike. |

What a super expression on your Finch! Very sharp and detailed. Background fades to a selective out of focus. Love the bird in the middle of the frame and of course the turn of the head makes it. Excellent! |

Couldn't be any better! Love the position of the bird in the frame with the branch making a nice leading line. The slight turn of the head makes it. Excellent! |

Ron, very sharp and detailed Sand Hill Crane. Thought the background was a bit bright so I toned it down. Made the bird pop a little more. What do you think? |

Don, very nice image. Non distracting background really compliments the Ibis. Love the slight turn of the head. We are on the Anhinga Trail several times a year and ever since Hurricane Irma there has been a definite lack of birds?? Wouldn't change a thing. |

Crop and layout is very nice. As mentioned above there is a halo on the bird and the horizon line. Possibly reprocess in PS. |

Leslie and Michael, thank you for your comments. The sad thing is that this wetlands has become so over grown that I haven't seen any limpkins in 2 years. I used to go there and sit on a bank watching out for gators and shooting images of limpkins and their young. They would be everywhere bringing up snails but no more. |

What is snow? Just kidding! Used to live in the north east Paul. We are now chilly if it's in the high 60s. Fresh fallen snow is beautiful but I don't miss it at all! |

Hi Bev, it not that you have to concentrate more. It's that many images in the Digital Dialog Group are so good the the critiquers have to be very picky. I guess that's what helps us be better photographers. |

Don, I like all the work you did. The warm tone background is super and it works well with the frosty flower. It definitely compliments the subject. Very nice composition. |

Lloyd, not a fan of high key but I really like this one. The lightening of the horse and the sharp details makes it a winner! It is a snow scene but you have toned down the brightness to a point that the horse really pops. Excellent! |

Bev, this is an absolutely gorgeous image. Love the symmetry, sharpness and richness of colors. The lighting and shadows accentuates the mood. Thought it was better or not without the half door. Sad story about your Guide. |

Mike, normally I don't like cutting or cropping anything in half but I have to say that I like the tight crop of the new-born lamb. I like the original image also with some area cleanup that Theresa suggested but honestly both are excellent. |

Nigel, this is an outstanding image and with the exception of removing the wind sock and a some sky I wouldn't change anything else. Like the monochrome but you loose the people. This is an excellent composition and all technical aspects are excellent. |

This image has great visual impact and interest. The thermal river is certainly a nice leading line to the thermal basin and background. Theresa's color comments are right on. Good eye Ted. |

Michele, your processing really brought out the rich colors of this structure and the speeding motorcycle really gave it some life. Would have been static without the people, tuc tuc and motorcycle. Would like to see the wires on the left removed but not the man. Excellent and interesting image. |

Theresa, love the Milky Way and the many lights on the ground. Are they burning fires or lights from a town? Very interesting! The two elongated lights and the large round lens flare on the middle left would be better cloned out. Very nice and unusual image. |

Thank you all for your comments. My original thoughts were to have the left open as a lead in but I did try a crop and it does change the image to a more balance image. Like it better. |

Roy, you have definitely succeeded in making this a work of art. It does look like a water color. I do understand the odd number rule but I do feel the skimmer on the far left should be removed but on the other hand it does create balance. We live very close to you and love skimmers. Excellent work Roy. |
