Hi Marty, Thank you for the comment. It got an award in the 90 to 95 percentile two weeks ago in the Florida Council of Camera Clubs. To get the flame and some smoke probably took 30 images as fast as the camera would go to get one good one. Thanks again. |

Bev, I think Paul's monochrome is outstanding also. If I had time I would have done one similar for the FCCC. |

Lloyd, Love the dark background. There are three images in this round that are semi low key. The three Callas Lillies really pop. Good tonality on the Lillies and the surrounding area certainly compliments the three subjects. I like the way you can still see the leaves. Very nice. |

Bev, this is a very colorful and catchy image. The story is very interesting and just amazing that you would run into her after all these years. I had to fix her teeth. They really bothered me. Also adjusted the catch lights a little. Very nice image. |

Don, this group really has some talented photographers. This is absolutely beautiful!. Wish I could say something constructive to change but I can't. Maybe just a slight crop at the top but not much. Very nice. |

Paul, your low key Black Velvet Petunia is outstanding! Love your treatment of the flower. It almost looks like an abstract or line drawing. Very well done. |

Mary, gorgeous , gorgeous tack sharp sparrow! I did get rid of the branches that I felt were distracting and took away from the image. Back ground is perfect! |

Hi Ted, Just got back from your neck of the woods. Stayed a few hundred feet from this bridge. Shot the Tierra Verde Bridge several times but none of our images were as good as yours. However the bird and wildlife photography at the North Beach of Fort De Soto was just outstanding on both mornings and evenings that we were there. Many Oyster Catchers, Skimmers and Spoonbills. |

Hi Ted, a question. Is the Tierra Verde Bridge lighted like this all the time. We are going to Fort DeSoto in a week or so for wild life and would like to shoot the bridge also? |

Theresa, I keep going back to your image of the Vista House. Your monochrome is the best! My question is, is the interior as magnificent as the exterior? What a location!!! |

Theresa, it is amazing how you can look at an image and never see defects. I did fix the image above. Thanks Theresa. |

Ted and Michele, the reason I left the right hand section of the frame was that it showed one of the massive smoke stacks from the long defunct power plant. I did crop it and like both of you suggestions, it is a much better image. Thank you both for the comments. |

John, I did two mods to your outstanding image. The little building / fence in the lower left I found to be a distracting element in the frame. Also the sky was just a tad bright. It must have been breathtaking to walk this path under all those cherry blossoms!!! Great eye John. |

Ted, absolutely beautiful lighting on the bridge and the sky is perfect. Very good example of the golden hour. Outstanding sharpness and detail of the bridge. The only thing I might do and it is very picky is remove the building in the lower left. Super image! |

Michele, this is a beautiful intricate waterfall scene. Certainly worth the trouble of getting there. What we do to get the shot!!! I like the way you brought the forward boulder's and the strata of rock in the falls area alive. To me the sky is pointing you directly at the falls. The sharpness in critical areas is right on. Well done. |

Very good eye Mike. Good visual impact and interest. The surrounding area compliment the grackle and the fountain. What was the background? Masterful job on the whites! Nothing hot! This is almost a high key image with shading. Wouldn't change a thing. |

Theresa, This is a terrific example of an architectural / landscape image. The clarity and sharpness of the amazing building is super! Like the semi S curve that leads you right into the building. I had to look it up on google earth and was amazed that it is sitting right one top of its own mountain. Monochrome was definitely the way to go. Any distracting elements were nullified by B&W and the building just pops! Mountains are a super backdrop. |
