Max, I find this an extremely fascinating and interesting image. This is a very strong composition and the removal of a few people made it even better. The visual impact is very high! Does the tide ever cover this area? I am trying to figure this out. Did they remove the rock surface from around the path. Just curious Max. Love this image. |

Jamie, thank you for your comments. We love it too but like anywhere it has its good points and bad points. One thing I have to say it certainly isn't boring! |

Jamie, you are right. His eye is an exact clone of his other eye but it is too sharp or too bright. Also the area around the eye doesn't seem to matching my version. My clone needs to be toned down and probably a lot more work. |

Now Jamie please don't get aggravated with me. Bentley is an adorable little pup and I can see why he is the joy of your lives. Two things bothered me. First the lack of his eye and second the paw being cutoff. I fixed both of them in photoshop. Not a perfect job but a fair one. What do you think? Very nice image no matter what! |

Bev, beautiful little girl and her face and outfit is just precious. All tack sharp and perfect contrast. It tells a good story and there are no distracting elements in the frame. Like the background that I think you gave it. Background is soft, non obtrusive and really makes the little girl pop. Wish I had known about this festival. Looks and sounds like a good photo op for next November. |

Margaret , you are right!! Key West is a CRAZY place!! We live in a quiet little normal area on the water, while a few miles away is constant chaos on Duval Street. KW is also also has constant art and photography shows, music, plays and beautiful tropical seas! |

Margaret, this is a very well balanced composition with a lot of visual impact and interest. Only thing I noticed that it was slightly flat. I put it into Aurora HDR and I feel it gave it a little pizazz! Cropped the small part of the building on the right. Very well done image. |

Margaret, I agree with you about Key West. We live here 6+/- months a year. Late October to mid April. Hurricane season No No No! Hurricane Irma took 20 feet right off the water side of our place and Ian we had 2 feet of water on our property but the house is up high enough that it didn't affect us. Sure is nice here in the winter when the rest of the country is freezing though. |

Very well done. Interesting about using Rain-X. Will put this method on my bucket list to try. Love these high megapixel cameras because they give you so much flexability!! |

Thanks Mary. Unfortunately here in Key West we are overrun with them. I guess lots of reptile models is good?? |

Your robin is tack sharp Lloyd and it has the first thing that I always look for in a bird. I was taught that besides the eye being sharp and having a catch light that the head should have a slight turn towards the camera which your robin does. The lower third is perfect but the upper third has a distracting element in the frame by being just too hot. Just my opinion Lloyd but still an excellent image. |

Very clever image Mary. Did you use glycerin for your water drops? Am amazed how you got the full flag in every water drop. Love it!!! |

John, if you can ever get to Cuba it is an amazing experience especially for a photographer. My wife and I have taken several thousand images there. We also found it to be extremely safe. It was obvious we were tourist with cameras and yet we walked the streets of Havana day and night with incident. The Cuban people are a happy people yet they have nothing. |

In this image the colors seem to be a very natural. Love the leading line of the fallen leaves that leads you into the image and through the path. The fallen leaves and trees and shrubs seem beautifully manicured. This image communicates a serene and quiet message. The only distracting element and you mentioned that it was raining is the light gray bright sky. I am afraid if you darkened it you would change the beautiful natural colors of the fall foliage. Very nice image. |

Theresa, I feel you are correct. Image is somewhat dark and definitely grunge. This was also the way we felt waking through this whole area. Although we had no mishaps it was an area that you kept looking over your shoulder. |

Michele, I dug through my files and found the highest res image to try and figure out the blackness. I think that there were huge black drapes covering a stairway and something else???. |

Michele, you are exactly right. This image was shot with a 47 mega pixel camera and yet there is no detail in the shadows. Probably way too much contrast! Wish I could remember all the particulars of the day, time and conditions. This one little street in Havana was as strange as strange could be!! |

Michele, if you were to ask me where this image was taken, I would say Arcadia National Park in Maine. Your seascape on the Shipwrenck coast instills good emotional reaction. Have a feeling it was shot at at very slow shutter speed which made the ocean soft. Like the glow of the early morning horizon. Very well done. |

Theresa this is gorgeous image. It is somewhat three dimensional. I found one thing that really bothers me. See if you can see it in my mediocre fix. The areas of sky framed in the tree branches are the wrong sky color (very light color blue) not consistent with the sky. Still love it! |

Mike, this is a beautiful image. I tried a few things to possibly make it better. Removed some flowers that I thought distracting. Sharpened the Monarch just a small amount. Possibly a little better but it was very good to start with. |
