Rick, I have toned down the greens and like it both ways. There were rays of sun coming down through the trees a thusly bright/dark leaves. Fun place! |

Having been to Motif#1 hundreds of times. I can vouch for the color being accurate. Have seen Motif#1 from bright vivid flat barn red to washed out more than your image is. I'm sure you have too. Bearskin Neck is one of my favorite places to shoot! Like the harbor full of boats as long as they are older nautical vessels and not modern day. Very nicely done. |

Brad, you find the most amazing sunsets! I surmise that the top right quarter may be a storm. Fort Island Beach, if we are talking about the same place near Crystal River is only and hour or so from Gainesville, Florida our real home. We winter in Key West though. We are six and Sixers. Hope you go to the Freezer for shrimp in Homosassa!!! Especially like the sunset! The lower part of the image is a tad dark but true to form with the sun right into the lens. Might tone that dry bag down a little. A very nice blend and West Marine doesn't bother me at all! Like it. |

Max, your wait was with it! I have read that bison are very unpredictable and skittish. The sharpness, turn of the head and the slightly out of focus stream make this image. Glad you didn't have to run for your life. Well done Max! |

Bill, this is a superb image! Love the sculpture, fencing, red flowers, massive buildings, amazing sky and sharpness of everything. I saw the man on the cell phone and at first didn't like him but I think he is needed for the perspective of the size of the sculpture. Your point of view and balance is right on. UNG TER does nothing to help the image and would like to see it removed. It is obvious that you put a lot of work into this image and I think the results are spectacular!!! |

Hi Jamie, Stranger things have happened! You seemed to receive a lot of complementary comments, so all is not lost. Jamie, this is a beautiful warm image. Like Marys comment, it really does draw you into it. Don't really care for the B&W image because for me it turns an inviting image into the house of sticks! The University of Florida has a small chapel on campus that this remind me of. Your chapel is more beautiful though. Well done Jamie. ðŸ‘ðŸ˜. |

Thank you Mary. It Took a lot of bad shots to get a fair one. The smell of the wood smoke and the rich colors were the big draw. |

Lloyd, thank you. Aurora single image HDR helped to make it not so flat. |

Paul, this was a tough one. The whole area was dense smoke. Luckily a breeze came along and cleared the farmer and the boiling cain for a few moments. |

Let it be three. I also like the original background and the window best, sorry Bev. Granted it is complex and cluttered but it fits. I normally like a slight turn of the head but this profile works. Wish the hand was in the picture. Very interesting image! |

Lloyd, I like it that you can feel the motion of the hummingbird and I like it that the head and flower are in focus and the rest is out. 1/200 is VERY slow for hummingbirds but I know you did it by choice and you caught it very nicely. I agree with Mary that that pink soft flower is very distracting and should be removed but all in all really like it. |

Paul, your Late Evening Hummingbird just has a nice feel to it. Almost looks like a painting. Your hummer may be a hair over sharpened but I like it and the background really enhances it. Wouldn't change anything. Very nice. |

Mary, this is a beautiful mood image! Love the lighting and reflections. Perfect angle and perspective. The lower left has a very slight blue cast that I might clone out. You did a masterful job on this image. Haven't been to Longwood gardens in many years. Would love to go back. Maybe next summer. |
