Lisa, you find some amazing old buildings to photograph. Like yours which is soft and Bill's which is very sharp. Very interesting! |

Love this image. Did try shading the canyon area to try to create more depth but didn't seem to help. Tried to lighten rock formations where the sheep are standing also definitely didn't like. Sometimes an image is better just left alone. |

Rick , I think you are correct. The yellows are very dominate. Possibly just me but I like the pond and foreground in the new and the tree line and mountains in the original. Both are very good though. |

Agree with Rick, the clouds are the image and are magnificent. Wouldn't change a thing! |

Bill, I like it! 1000% better! Thank you. Several years ago there was several photographers that did an article in the PSA magazine about Old Car City. Were you part of that group? |

Bill, I really like the grunge textures and deep rich colors of this image. The door being open does pull you through the image out to escape to the metal grating and real world. Very good image. |

I like the Flying Tandem not the Original. The above image reminds me of being on a Ferry Boat crossing to Ocracoke, NC on a beautiful day! |

Out of shear curiosity what did the judge like or dislike. I know you have been competing a long time and know that one judge will love it and the next hate it! Most important that you like it. |

Mary, I don't think your granddaughter is a problem. If you could actually see her eyes and face maybe but she drives you right to the hippo's eye that is looking right at her. It's just like they are communicating. I REALLY LIKE IT!!! |

Lloyd, I know you like to tell stories and I think you have outdone your self here. That bus looks like it is making a turn at about 80 miles per hour and on two wheels. I think the person in the burgundy coat is wondering if they are going to be killed. I know the sky is all blown out and the image is a little hot but I like it and it does work! |

Mary, this is an amazing capture! I bet Camden Aquarium would use that on a poster or brochure. The little girl is slightly out of focus but she leads your eye right to the huge in focus hippo. Look at that hippo to human contact. Hippo eye is looking right at her. Super! |

Jamie, you made a ho hum overcast image into a very nice perfect color image. Feels like you were out in a boat. Your sky is good and I like the gull heads turned in the same direction. You stoped them perfectly. Isn't shooting birds fun but terribly difficult. |

Margaret, I was taught to never put anything in the center but in this case it works. Like it and like your somewhat out of focus background. Very nice balance. I do see a line to the lower right of the flower that needs smudge or slight clone. All in all very good. |

Paul, in most of the clubs we are in this would fall into the creative category. Your humming bird is probably one of the sharpest hummers that I have ever seen. Beautiful and perfectly exposed! I like the background for the most part but the horizontal line near the top pulls you eye away from your magnificent bird. |

As a unique extremly holy site and I think you captured it perfectly. Was it a wide angle image and you cropped it into a pano. I think the impact is outstanding and if you showed the whole wall the people would be miniscule. Very strong image. |
