This image is flawless perfect! Sharpness and great depth of field are super. Earth tones and moving water is beautiful. I think It's ready to hang on your living room wall. Well done. |

Dear Margaret & Bev,
Just me but I know how important catch lights are and that most judges go right to the eyes first so it is most important that the catch lights match and are subtle! I cloned the perfect catch light in the right eye into the left eye and this got rid of the extra reflections in the left eye. Catch lights have to look real! I know this is picky but judges are picky to extremes. |

Hi Mary, I think that there is a gem in a large image. I cropped the image so now the leading line is the lower left leaf which leads to the gorgeous Monarch heading for the flowers. Just one of many ways to adjust this image. |

Hi Mary, If you try it here are a few hints. You can purchase a lens ball on eBay for very reasonable. 80 or 100 mm is excellent. If you can buy or inovate a stand or holder like a coke bottle lid it helps. Remember the image will be upside down. Try maximum f stop for starters. Get creative and its fun. Below is an example before any photoshop. |

Hi Margaret, I like this image and even though it is a telescope, I thought it looked somewhat futuristic. I tried toning down the hot spots and then put it into Aurora HDR. I thought the result was very futuristic. Like it or not really? |

Lloyd, I know this is a gimmicky shot. I too would like all in focus but it is tougher than it looks. I use f32 and you would think the whole wold would be in focus. I am thinking of trying a composite with both sharp. I went out one day and shot a lens ball and a lighthouse and as many thing that I thought might be interesting. |

Bev, that is the best one yet! Getting rid of most of the hand was brilliant. I actually like this image now. Two heads are always better than one. Thank you. |

With such a beautiful granddaughter how could you go wrong? With a crop and a few tweaks please tell me if you think it is slightly better. I cloned some skin tone on the nose, cloned the right eye catch light into the left eye, burned the hot white sweater and cropped a little. Maybe a little better but the original certainly isn't bad. |

Like this image a lot. Your background choice is perfect. There are no hot spots in you Cactus Flower and I can't honestly find anything I would change. Like the monochrome better than color. Great job. |

Love this image! At first I thought get rid of the sliver of brick on the far left but the more I looked at it I changed my mind. It is an integral part of showing depth heading towards the door. The rich earth tone colors and the texture of the different bricks are super. The only thing I would address is the hot triangle to the right of the door. All in all, a great image. |
