Thanks for your comments Dennis. It was a peaceful scene and we enjoyed our time there. It became less tranquil as we got over the bridge and turned towards all the cafes and bars. I thought the colours and reflections made the shot worthwhile but will still have a go at mono as previously suggested. |

Thanks Michele
I hadn't thought of that because I liked the colours but will give it a go. Likely to be a while, I just got out of hospital and can't get on my pc at the moment. |

All been said about the lighting - I agree. The texture on the different kinds of trees is really interesting as are the shapes the various formations make. Nice capture. |

I think the story is good but the lighting hasn't been your friend here. The light on the sheep in the centre is really nice but we are lacking a similar amount on the people. Perhaps some selective lighting to match? As said - a bit soft. |

Great shot showing how far phone tech has come in recent years. I'd agree with cropping the smaller rock out but wouldn't want to lose any width so 16:9 would be my choice of crop for it and perhaps a bit more of the mountains at either side if you have it. Also, a splash of colour to accentuatue the brownish colours on the central clump of trees might work? |

I like that a lot Michele. Subtle and not overcooked. The mountain peak has been placed in the middle of the trees so as not to overlap it. Great result. |

Nice post processing on this. The lines benefit especially. People in images like this usually provide scale and context but I don't think this needs it - it's a bridge and they're large structures. Not sure whether or not there's a slight lean to the right or not but the transform tool in lightroom could provide a clue to this. Still well taken. |

I like this. Doors are a favourite of mine. This one has the advantage of some steps leading up to it and also some palms (usually distracting but these feel part of the story) giving us information about the surroundings.
There's only one thing that I find not quite right - I think you may have used a radial filter to light the steps and you can see a slightly lighter area around the steps (Dodge and burn residue) which could indicate this. If you wanted to light just the steps, try making a selection using the pen tool and lighting just that selection, it's more accurate. I like the shot. |
