I don't know whether you did or not, but I'd use this as a record shot, like I did with mine this month, and then find individual portions of the garden to explore. There's a lot of lovely flowers here to photograph either individually or as part of a group. There's also some good height to give you a backdrop to work with. |

Thanks Tom. Accommodation and all meals on the boat although if you stay overnight in a particular location, some guests will sample the local restaurants. Appreciate your comments.

Thank you Mike - a great break and we got to see some places we'd been looking forward to for some while. |

The capture of the goat on hind legs was the important thing here. I think you had to take what composition you could get and it might not have been possible to get a better angle. From that point of view, well taken but I agree that this doesn't really work. The background and foreground are very cluttered. As a nature or wildlife submission you'd not pick up too many marks I'm afraid. |

I like this a lot. To me I would have preferred a bit more space to the right but it still works because you have the interest of the lovely colours on the left, balanced out with the rock formation on the right. Good capture Spring. |

I love the varying shades of green - there looks to be more than the alleged 40 shades in Ireland!
There's a good depth to this image and a (probably) well intentioned lead in diagonally from the bottom left that takes us through to the mountain range. The whole scene fits well together. Velvia isn't a look I'd personally go for as I find it too saturated but to each his own and it suits this image. Well composed Michele. |

I like the positioning of the main building. As others have said, the sky seems off to me and I would have checked for distractions. One way to do this is to turn the image upside down and if something jumps out at you, it's worth investigating. Other than that perhaps darken down the perimeter a bit. Nice scene Dennis. |

One place I'd love to go to and you've done a great job with it. The colour and contrast between old and new are great and the composition works extremely well. It wouldn't be the same image without the car and the man in the foreground, they provide added interest and depth. Great stuff Tom. |
