Thanks for all your comments. If I had slept a while longer I'd have missed this! There is a bonus for being a light sleeper. I like the shadows where they are Andrew, there's enough lighter areas to balance them with I think. |

Lovely wedding record shot in a great location. I don't mind the bag and the photographer - it was all there on the day. You could do that as a second shot for the collection if you wanted. I darkened the foreground to focus attention on the bride (not that it needed it but I liked the effect) and also gave 2 - 5% brightness on the central part of lighter grasses and the two highlights leading off to the left just for effect. Well shot. |

Welcome to the group.
I think the best bits of the streaks are top left hand corner and the section above the rider. The composition doesn't, in my opinion, need the last 25% of the right hand side and a slice off the botton. This concentrates me a bit more into the important areas. I like the exposure and the movement. |

Nice natural looking capture Mike and the pose of the one with its neck extended is different. They always tell us that odd numbers are better - did you think about cloning out the front one? I like the reflections though so might be a shame to get rid of it. |

I remember seeing these kind of structures in Italy and in France - they're quite rustic but purpose made. Nice job on sorting out the sea. You mention that the exposure time is 25sec. but there is still some detail left which looks good. You didn't have a very kind sky to work with which makes me wonder whether your first thought about mono might have been interesting to see. |

I spent a long time looking at this and in some respects, that's the essence of a good photograph. There's so much to see. I prefer the original image you posted - it seems to have more intent than the natural one. It seems more hazy though, because of the smoke I assume. There's not much colour on the left hand side but the shapes and lines do all the work for me there. Then there's the motion of the ocean giving us some action. More action with the smoke in the background and finally the sun breaks through in the centre - love it Tom. |
