Hi Richard, she has a gorgeous expression. I think either options tell an interesting story of the event but I think I prefer the original because it shows such respect for your son.

Hi Sophia This is a really adventurous concept and I think your iterations with Pete have developed it positively. I think the final image is worlds better than the original! |

Thanks Pete. The lines are an outline of the region so have meaning but do clutter the background. Thanks for your thoughts! |

The image really speaks to the rhythms of nature in the pattern of the incoming waves and the layering of the background hills. Its very understated but really well seen. I don't think I would go with Richard's version...its too much for my eyes! |

Natalia, Thanks for sharing the story of the event. Thats very interesting. I think you needed to be a little more brave and take the runners approaching you and maybe the best runners who are presumably leading the way. I get the feeling that this group are the tail enders and I noticed their feet are hardly off the ground. |

Hi Suzanne This is a fascinating study with a well integrated color palette featuring strong layers from bottom to top. I assume we have a gold hour image where the sun is catching the white trunks of the shoreline forest. I did struggle with trying to figure out where the focal point is. You get the feeling the shoreline carries on in both directions. It left me thinking that I wanted to see a more horizontal view. |
