Hi Richard. The tilt of the horse, the flying mane, and the spray of grit carry a real sense of power and split-second timing and you convey how the horse and rider are unified. I think the bottom of the frame could be cropped and some of the lhs too and that would draw us into the image more. Noted you have tried to reduce the impact of the background but I think you could go further by desaturating it more and adding some haze. |

Noted Pete's comments which are well made I thought the way you changed the perspective was excellent. It presents the reflection as a strong foundation for the cathedral by unifying the two elements. The reflection is quite dark though. Had you considered lifting the exposure there? |

I think this is a wonderful capture of this woman. I am sure she loves it. Nice that your caught her well illuminated with a dark background that makes her stand out so well. Love it |

Hi Natalia, loving the introduction to St Petersburg. Have to say I smiled at the description…it's just your local Post Office. Anyway no suggestions on the image as presented but it did make me want to play with the cropping. Maybe "less is more"? |

Thanks Pete, yes I think removing clutter on the skyline is a good idea and he does improve being brighter. Which begs the question should the background be darker? A case of what is the primary focus! |
