Fabulous image Sophia and great story about the opportunity. No thoughts for improvement but if its OK (wouldn't be here) I would clone out the cormorant. |

Thanks Barbara...I think they could make a triptych (using other images that you have not seen). Just casting around for thoughts as to how to approach this kind of subject. It seems a bit easy just to take loads of shots and then say its "Art."

Thanks Jim. It wasn't so much the processing but whether people thought it was a valid image. |

Lovely human interest shot, Richard. I like the increased focus on her face with Jim's edits. Perhaps even a click further by reducing the brights on her dress and flowers. |

Beautiful image Oliver. I think one question could be the desired focal point. I find my eye is drawn to the tulips which are dominant due to their brightness, sharpness and saturation. I think the composition could be moved a bit if the focus changed to the building. Just something to ponder. |

Hi Jim, I love nature but have mostly been posting landscapes here. We share the same gear (camera system). Also use Topaz products
I think your image is great and don't have anything to add to improve. |

Hi Barbara the red barn is awesome and I am totally not surprised you are keen to do something with it. I wasn't so convinced about the need to crop but I figured it made adding the reflection easier. I thought the reflection was a good idea (and getting ripples added) and my main response was to dull it down even more by painting over a low opacity brown colour. Rationale for this was that the bottom of the pond would be brown and some of this would show through. I also cloned in a bit of extra sky along the bottom. Lastly converted the straight line boundary of the reflection into something with some wobbles in it. |

Hi David, you do get some awesome action shots! I thought you did a great job on moving and cloning in the left handside and I would have never suspected but for your description (or the original image). The light was obviously flat that day so I tried something to lift it a little. Having got it into Photoshop I tried a re-crop as I found viewing the dominant riders on the borders of the image a bit difficult. So despite all you work, I went for the RHS of the image |
