His antlers are a real feature of the image, along with his elfin like challenge to you. I like his expression, it seems just right. Since you have done most of the hard work masking him a lighter background is a good idea. Maybe the one you have used already with an adjustment of the levels. |

Such a fantastic shot Sophia. Topaz AI Sharpen is a good product and it has worked well here. Worth having for birds but sometimes it tries too hard and creates artefacts. |

The feature I noticed first was the stronger highlights on the side of his face so would prefer local adjustments of the light to avoid that. For a candid shot I would prefer to have him looking at the camera so agree with your choice there. The filter seems to have worked. I wonder it it works for birds where its preferable to have them engaging with the photographer as well.

Wonderful light and the exposure is just right to capture the lacey quality of the clouds. I like the silhouette effect |

HI David...really enjoyable action shot, nice and sharp on the try scorer but we can also see the reaction of the other side. Tells a good story. I did wonder about the ref in the foreground but its difficult to crop out without loosing the nice balance in the image as cropped by you. Maybe he could be cloned out. |
