40 Dec 22 Reply Hi Don, thanks for your comments. Your modification looks very impressive with much more active clouds. Plus, both the horizontal ratio and the vertical ratio are close to the golden ratio, that makes the image looks more comfortable! I do not have Adobe Camera Raw on my Mac, but your efforts let me know there is the possibility. Thank you! I may play with my tools to see if I could get similar result. Merry Christmas and happy new year! Dec 24th

40 Dec 22 Reply Hi Catherine, thank you for your comments. If you feel heavy, then it is heavy and I'd agree to crop it a little to better balance the image. Merry Christmas and happy new year! Dec 23rd
40 Dec 22 Reply Hi Andrew, thank you for your comments. For the right hand side, I mostly concern the dark area at the right bottom corner. Because for the upper half, it serves as a compensation of the left hand side where the sky and water are separated by trees, to make the image have some sort of feeling of "immense". But I agree it won't hurt if the right hand being cropped out a little, say, 1/3. Merry Christmas and happy new year! Dec 23rd
40 Dec 22 Reply Thank you Henry for your comments. It's a good suggestion. I may try next month. Merry Christmas and happy new year! Dec 23rd
40 Dec 22 Reply Thank you Julie for your comments. You are right, it was different with what actually in front of me, which should be more amazing than what in the image. At least in reality it was constantly changing. Merry Christmas and happy new year! Dec 23rd
40 Dec 22 Reply Thank you Jamie for your comments! Good to know you like it. Dec 9th
40 Dec 22 Comment I like this bird. I don't know why it seems to be very quiet. If not using a telescope lens, I don't think the details could be better than this. I just increased the exposure to make the light more shining in its eye Dec 8th
40 Dec 22 Comment Hi Don, your images always extend my knowledge, and this image did this as well. I can't say it's absolutely chaos since there are patterns in the lines. But I don't know what should be an absolute chaos either. When I see your original image and imagined it as a passway to some point, then I came out with this modification in which I prefer hiding details Dec 8th
40 Dec 22 Comment I like your image. The color of the cloud and the water are symmetric but in different textures and shapes. And it's wonderful to see a ship at the horizontal line that differentiating the sky and the water. And I also like the trees that making a natural frame for the image. The only different thing I would possibly do is just using a smaller aperture to make everything as sharp as possible. But given the distance, I think it's already good enough by using F8. Dec 7th
40 Dec 22 Comment Actually I'm still not sure whether this is a painting or a photograph. Although I have zero painting experiences or knowledge, I like your image and the idea. To me, it looks like crayons or fence. But I got trouble with the big brown area in the upper half of the image. It stops me from more imaginations. The idea is interesting, and I like the image because of its texture, natural color, and maybe the abstract style. Dec 7th
40 Dec 22 Comment I like the sense of being happy most, and everything line in the image seems to be correctly arranged, I mean, not sloping horizontal or vertical lines. That make me feel comfortable as a potential OCD patient. The green and red color is occupying the main subject and carrying the happy lady on it, this makes me easily focus on the lady and get emotionally caught up. Dec 7th
