Thank you for your input, but you don't have to use landscape point of view to read it. I don't have fresh landscape photos and don't want to post old ones which were using old techniques. I'll try to bring more landscape pictures in the future if I have. And yes, it is not impressive in common sense plus it does not deliver my feelings well. |

If without the long exposure, the beach should be full of rocks and maybe not good looking. Now, it looks like a fairyland. Wonderful job!
However, I feel a little scary but can't come out with any suggestions, given the fact the sea is supposed to be scary in cloudy days. |

Beautiful output, I like it very much. But I'm not familiar with those techniques that you wrote. And I don't think it could be done only by a camera, because the blurred spots are distributed somehow randomly. |

I like the texture and curves of the glacier. Maybe this is the closest spot to watch the glacier from top, and it seems you didn't have choice to avoid those trees while preserving the whole sense. So, with those trees on both sides, I can read how difficult it was to take this image and hence they do add values. One possible solution might be using a drone, but it would be another story.
Nice image. |

Is that a rainbow at the center of the image?
When reading the image, I feel relaxed and satisfied, but I don't know how "satisfied" was there. Maybe I'd also like to spend an afternoon there, plus there is nothing blocking my view.
Nice image. |

What a great waterfall and beautiful place. But I'm totally attracted by those hands up people, and I'm curious what's on top of the waterfall. Nice shot |

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. Yes, the flamingos distracted the dragonfly more than usual, but if not blurring the flamingos they are more distracting. I should try the darkening, but I also wanted the dream to be a bright one. Anyway, not a good one easy to read |

Thank you for your comments. I did try focusing on flamingos, that was even more simpler and not interesting at all since they are animals in a zoo and were sleeping at that time. |

Thank you Catherine for your appreciation. Since the boy was not intentionally included, these effects are actually unexpected bonuses. |

Hi Catherine, I think both images are beautiful. I just got confused with "white vignette" which I don't know either, and the original one does not have a parking lot and obviously it is another picture. But I like both, they are full of love and sunshine. |

Thank you Andrew for your warm welcome and suggestions. Yes, it would be great if the child's expression was captured as well. |

Hi Jamie, I like you modification from the original image. Although I learned a lot from Don's comments, I guess what you want to emphasize is the snow on the mountain and that is done very well in the modified version if it is the case, and my suggestion would be cropping out the right side to position the summit just at the center of the image to strengthen your motivation. With the clouds in the sky and surrounding its summit, the mountain looks more lofty and handsome/beautiful. And the clouds make the sky filled with beautiful textures. But on the other hand, the clouds can blur the ridges and the summit, and they would be less sharp without the help of colors. I don't think it is easy to achieve both at one time, maybe post-processing is needed. In all, it's a wonderful portrait of a wonderful mountain, and I enjoy reading it very much. |

Hi Henry, I love this image which looks like a cartoon full of child interest. I wondered how could such a bird sculpture been photographed so sharp that I could nearly count the mesh holes on its body. When I read the original image and know how huge it is, I like this image much more. I agree with Don that it could be better if the stop sign and street sign were left in the image. Particularly, I love the red face of the bird that it looks so cute, and the way you enlightening the colors of the image. Good job! |

Hi Andrew, it is not only colorfully blue, but also emotionally blue when reading this image. When the wall was new, it must be shining and fashion by using mosaic at that time. Years later till now, the wall is old but still standing there and telling a lot of stories with every piece of its body. And the context is good that it makes the blue object just at the height of eyes, and it makes me feel I'm just standing in front of the wall, facing it and communicating with it. And technically the context helps to balance the color, otherwise the blue would be too heavy for it to be emotionally blue. So I think you have done the assignment precisely indeed, and I like this blue image very much. Good job! |

Hi Don, I like this image very much. I like the red expression of the rusts making them look like wounds of the metal and thus making the metal alive. I like the shadows being tuned into blue that balanced the color very well. I like that you leave the hinge and the rail in the image which enriched the details while not disturbing at all. And I like the texture, lines, curves, and the shape at lower left, all of these make the image looks like a beautiful painting done by the nature in a long time. Thank you for this great work that opened my mind. |

Thank you Don for your warm welcome with so much insights, that you pointed out everything I put in this image plus a surprise that it looks like the boy is feeding the Hippo! Honestly, I tried to lighten up the Hippo's mouth but it didn't feel good, so I left it as it was. As for the manual focus lenses, I found they can focus more precisely as I wish than the auto ones, so I changed my camera to a mirrorless one which supports manual focus and shows the focus area and focusing effects clearly on its LCD screen, that makes it even more convenient than using a SplitImage-Microprism focusing screen as before. Also thanks to my family who are uncomplaining in cooperation to be my models with big patience. Good to see your comments and thank you again. |
