What a great old barn and I love that shovel that's by the fence. I think I like the original barn with the darker colors more so than the processed one. For my eye, the processed barn looks washed out. You did great with the sky replacement and that can be tricky at times. I tinkered with it a bit (used a different sky) but I left some of the dark tones on the barn. What do you think??? |

Beautiful sunset! Looking closely at this image, I see some some sort of smudges near viewer's right on the two flags. I think brightening the flags would help. Don't know if Elements has any powerful selection tools for masking but know they are in PS. If you isolate the flags and made them pop a bit more, I think this would be awesome. Good job darkening the foreground! |

Very pretty scene but I think the size of this photo isn't doing it justice. I have a 27" monitor and it is very small . Agree with Bill that it does look soft but again it may be do to the size. Try sending a photo that is 1000 pixel on longest size with a resolution between 72-100 and I think we will be able to see it more clearly. |

Cool shades of blue. Overall, it's a lovely photo but I do agree with Bill about the blue on the bottom of the mountains. I think you could recover some detail and this would be absolutely spectacular. It is a wonderful capture. |

Thanks, I will play around with the background and I didn't notice the tail feathers were clipped. Need to check my original because I know I have three complete owls in most versions. I may have cropped the tail inadvertently. I can mute the background easily but was worried that a darker background would make the owls recede more and wanted them to really stand out. I will give it some thought though. |

Thanks, I had wondered about the tree, I will look and see if I have something to replace the tree. I have lots of photos that I might be able to take something from. |

This is the sweet scene from the Cathedral you showed us last month, right?? Lovely scene. There is some sort of squiggle in the clouds near the tree on the left, sensor "dust" maybe? I think the vignette on the bottom and lower sides could be darkened so that you draw the viewer's eye up the walk and towards the Cathedral (which is quite impressive). Looks like a very lovely place to walk! |

Thanks! I would have to erase the entire post and put it back so this was the easiest way of getting your original in. |

Great looking scene and I really like the use of the texture!! Will say I agree with everyone on correcting the perspective. I stuck it in Nik's Perspective EFEX (with a little added real estate on the bottom) and it did a fantastic job! |

What an awesome sky!! I do agree with others that you could tighten the crop, making the rock more pronounced. Very cool looking place! |

Thanks!! I shot this with a Canon EOS RF24-240mm lens. Focal length was 188mm. Used 1/250sec at f/6.3 & ISO 500 and -1/3ev on a converted Canon EOS RP. That lens is my "walk around lens" and I find it does a nice job. The nest was relatively close to the boardwalk. My normal "bird" lens is the Canon EOS100-500mm with a 1.4 extender. If you want to see a bird photo using that check out my owl family on group 9 this month. |

LOL, I must have grabbed the wrong "original". It is the same group of birds. Haven't checked out Derrick Story but I will, always looking for IR sources. BUT now looking at the three heads, I know realize that this nest consists of two Snowy Egrets and one Cattle Egret.
