It did turn out well and goes to show the a camera phone can be a viable alternative. Love the colors of this and think the composition is very good, well done! |

I like the sky as is because I think it helps establish a lovely, serene mood for you photo. Agree the vignette is a little too heavy but the softness of the trees doesn't bother me as the lighthouse is the star.

Great job!! I can see this over a sofa in a very large size. Wouldn't change a thing. |

I did another photo and what I think is happening is there isn't enough difference between the black on the bill and the dark bark for the AI engine to develop a great mask. I think it sort of blurs the area. At least that is how it looks to me when I zoom in. Still not a bad feature for a quick and dirty mask. |

Agree with Dave and Priscilla. I think this conversion is nice but doesn't have enough tonal contrast. I do think you could work with it a bit more and have a wonderful conversion. |

I saw a nearly identical dragon at the Festival of Lanterns but it never entered my mind to try it in IR. Very nice panorama. As I view this, I wonder if it would make for a great B&W, you have great tonality to it. I don't know what bandwidth you shoot but might be fun to do some faux color. The head of the dragon is very impressive! |

Wow, both are lovely images and II would be hard pressed to pick a favorite between the two, The are some very light areas in the B&W that I do find a bit distracting but it can be hard to control when converting. The detail of the lichens (?) growing on the statue is amazing. Now I need to go find the nearest sculpture garden. |

Nice work! I love how the branch rendered. I think the big leaves on the viewer's left are pushing the white/highlights a bit much bit this is a very interesting photo. |

I like your experiment! I very seldom attempt to shoot IR at a beach but this gives me some hope. I think this has somewhat of a nostalgic feel to it and agree with Lauren that it barely looks like an IR photo (but that also makes it very cool). My only comment is the whites are a tad hot but overall I think it's great!!
