I was actually with Hazel when I took this!! I spent several days going out looking at old barns, buildings and other places with her. I would recommend any of her workshops, she is a lot of fun!! |

Well done, the bridge is certainly charming. The sky choice is very nice but as I look to the end of the bridge, the sky doesn't quite look right to me. It is tilted ever so slightly but perspective can be easily corrected (or not) as old bridges could be tilted! |

Lovely flowers and leaves in the foreground! Agree with others on the grass not add much and think the idea of darkening or blurring it is a good. Overall, I like it. Nice job!

If you had not included the original, I would Never have guessed what this was. I think this made for a really nice macro shot. It makes a very nice abstract. I thought there my have been water in some sort of pot but just a very different view of a plant. Well done! |

The light really is lovely and I can see why you want to capture it. Nicely done! |

Lol, I debated whether to leave it in or not but because it is a feeder in the pasture, I thought I would leave in. I wish there had been cows eating out of it but they weren't there when we were photographing. |

I think it is sort of half dead. Wonder if it was a parasitic growth? Never tried shrinking a tree but might give it a whirl, thanks! |

Thanks! The tree and chimney (and the house I suspect) were filled with birds. They would take off the settle then repeat. Had I put on a longer lens, this would be a bird picture, lol!

I will definitely keep most of the tree. Wondering if the car needs to have more contrast so the foliage doesn't overwhelm it. This was a very healthy tree so the foliage renders quite bright but I think a custom vignette may help. Things to work on!!

The more I look at it the more I think that might work. May run a couple of prints to see. |

I like the truck very much! One thing that you might try to add 'extra grunge' to the truck is use a texture. You would need to see what different blend modes do and it can be a lot of fun to experiment. I personally think that you need to do something with the sky. To my eye it is too bright and competes with the cool truck. There is also an area on the viewer's right that looks a bit flat. I love the flowers in the truck bed. I would be tempted to do some background replacement so the truck takes the spotlight. |

I honestly like both version and normally I lean to B&W. The only suggestion would be perhaps to lighten the tower the cross sits on to really highlight the building a bit more. Overall, it's a nice output from an in camera mode. |

What a fabulous sky! It is so dynamic that I hardly look at the foreground. I can't think of anything to do but wow, great sky! |

Never thought about this color combo but I do like it. Like your idea of experimenting with different filters. Will definitely need to try it. The only thing that might improve on this would be something to break up the sky (clouds) and perhaps a little more contrast in the mountains but I really do like it! |

Thanks! If you ever are back in the US, there is a really cool place in Georgia which is nothing but old, junky cars. It's sort of off the beaten path but lots of photographers go there for the sole purpose of photographing cars. It covers a good bit off ground and is sort of spooky to be alone in. |
