9 Jul 20 Comment Good job! I'm glad you patch the battle weary butterfly so he has two antennas to use. Great job cleaning the background!! Jul 20th
9 Jul 20 Comment Well, I'm glad you cloned out the line in the lower left. I think you did well with this. Interesting subject matter and you have made it more whimsical! Good job! Jul 20th
9 Jul 20 Comment Nicely done, just took a webinar for this technique. Haven't tried it but I like how you set this up, good job! Jul 20th
9 Jul 20 Comment She must have been drying off. Nice detail for 3.2 but I think she needs a little bit more breathing room. Miss Anhinga looks like she might have some chromatic aberration. Might try to tone down that really bright green as my eye is pulled towards it. Nice little catch in her eye. Jul 20th
9 Jul 20 Comment Congrats, I hope you have great happiness with this new journey. Nice photo, it's very cheerful and celebratory!! Jul 20th
9 Jul 20 Reply The cactus is in a hanging basket and the flower is also hanging down. Somebody who knows this plant wouldn't expect the stem under the flower. The white area is a potential bud, could clone but again, it is expected to be there. Jul 16th
9 Jul 20 Reply Wow! I think my computer would faint trying to process 40 images at once. No need for apologies, we all see differently and lots of factors are introduced when go from camera to the internet. Take care! Jul 13th
9 Jul 20 Reply It is very sharp, f/16. I suspect because this is a low quality image that it gives an appearance of being soft. I can actual see the pollen grains on the flower petals with great clarity. I think I used ttl flash but I may have done some test shots and dialed it back so that it didn't overwhelmed the flower. I tried some focus stacking once, don't think I took enough images but it was interesting. Usually if I am shooting flowers, I like a soft look so they appear more ethereal. If the flowers dead, I want lots of detail. What do you use for your focus stacking subject??? Jul 13th

35 Jul 20 Comment A very pleasant scene! I like how you line up this shot. Yes, an open gate might have been more appealing but it still very nice and I think there is a sweetness to the gate. Jul 20th
35 Jul 20 Comment Nice job!! I do like this color combo, the sky is beautiful and I like the contrast between the sky and trees. Glad you didn't encounter the snakes. Jul 20th
35 Jul 20 Comment Oh, I love both versions of your photo. They are hauntingly beautiful. If there is a lot of noise (which sometimes I get in IR, I will double noise process by starting in LR with removal there and then start the next step by using Topaz. Certain photos seem to really be noisy and there doesn't seem much you can do to remove it. That's one reason, I have started using textures in various blend modes. I can sometimes disguise it. The other way you can hide noise, is to introduce grain which can give a very interesting look. These are just lovely!! For me, the noise really isn't an issue! Jul 20th
35 Jul 20 Comment I love the tonal contrast and the contrast between the foliage and reflection. Do agree that you could crop this photo. Will echo the use of Topaz Denoise AI but will warn to check your specs and run it in trial mode before you commit. Jul 20th
35 Jul 20 Comment Lovely scene! I would suggest you get a full spectrum conversion so you can get whatever filters you would like. I think you did an excellent job with color on this. I am even more impressed because this is an 830. Great job!! Wonderful scene, solid detail, you nailed it! Jul 20th
35 Jul 20 Comment You know how I love to play with software. I just photographed flowers in UV and converted then to High Key. Nature provided lots of texture on the poor spent flowers. I'm not too keen on venturing out since we are now the epicenter for COVID. These days are made for imagination and play! Jul 13th
35 Jul 20 Reply Thanks, I cropped away about 80% of the photo. It's in the top center of the photo. I feel I like have nothing to work with since shooting is so limited these days. I'm resisting old shots to see what I can do. Jul 12th
