Such an awesome sky, it is very dynamic! I like the black and white treatment. The only thing I think might help this phot would be to open up the darkness in the storm cloud. Suspect there is a lot more detail and I would love to see it. |

Your technique is really cool. The photo is very interesting but like David Garrison, it made me think of the algae issue here in Florida. You always come up with such interesting photo techniques either in camera or through processing so well done! |

Suspect Beverly Caine is right. I think your photo is very nicely done. The subjects are paired very nicely and don't know if you made it more painterly through processing but I like how the painting and flowers blend and 'support' each other. |

Hope the club appreciates the creativity. I like the flag background but to my eye the stripes are going into too many directions. On my screen (which is small) the tail of the jet and various "lines" almost mimic the eagle and there are a few places, I'm not sure what I'm seeing. Conceptual I think this is great and it may look better in a larger scale. I do like the "mood" of the background but the viewer's lower right corner doesn't quite work for me. Best of luck! |

You know I think you can't go wrong with any bird photo. I would like to see the shadows opened a bit to see more detail on the bottom and viewer's left. The overall photo looks a bit painterly to me, did you use any apps? |

I really like this! While it may not be perfectly symmetrical, I think there is a balance to it. The contrast is solid and even though I know it is primarily angles, I find myself scanning through the photo. |

Since he lives in a zoo, I wouldn't put him in the Nature division. I won't ever get to see lemurs in Madagascar so have to settle for visits to various places here. I think they are interesting to photograph. |

This is striking! I love the sky with wispy and billowing clouds. The stillness of the water contrasts beautifully with tower and its tact sharp lines. Would love to sit on that bench and just soak up the scenery. I think I might add a touch to provide a little more room for the tower on the viewer's left. I would definitely keep all those marvelous clouds. I also like the tonality of this, I think it adds to the overall beauty. Well done! |

I really like both your original and processed color versions. Reminds of an old picture postcard. The reflection is very interesting and I would consider cropping down and eliminating the branches in the sky. Helen's idea of flipping may yield some interesting results as well. Not sure you can really straighten out the ground without adding a lot of distortion but nothing venture! Do you Capture 20?? I haven't upgraded to it and seem to always forget that own it. Luminar 4 has some nice features. |

It sad to see such devastation but hope there will be better days ahead. The sky has such movement and it gives power to the scene. So sorry that you and your community has gone through this. Well done. |

It does look very desolate. The detail you have pulled out is wonderful. The grass is really dynamic. At first glance, I thought it was crashing waves. I think you did well eliminating the car. I do agree with Sharon's assessment of the foreground and would consider cropping up. Nicely done! |

Cool building! I feel like I can peek in the windows. The sky looks like it might have developed some noise. One thing Mark Hilliard recommended was use of Dfine (Nik) as a first and last step. I use Denoise AI sometimes but occasionally, I think IR can cause issues with certain files. Now, I work on a 15" laptop so I might be seeing this accurately. I do like your artistic touches!! |

I have recropped and added it to Sharon's comments. I used a diopter to get it more macro-like. I have a few things I know work well in CliR. There are days I just click to I see something I like, though! If I spent more time with it, I might get better BUT that is unlikely, lol! |

Thank you, it was so surprising to me to see the difference when shot with a regular camera versus infrared. I had a diopter on the lens to make it behave like a macro but this was shot with my old kit lens (28 -135 mm). I think the phot was sheer luck! |

Reading the comments thus far, I have tinkered with the photo a bit more. The visibility of the butterfly only comes out in the IR, with the hot mirror the chrysalis is nearly opaque! Have tried sharpening a bit more, dampened the background and recropped. |
