What a wise old face. Very nice portrait. There is a bit of chromatic aberration. The background is bright but not sure if darkening would work because of how the light falls on the ape's face. I really do like this! Good job. |

Great job on the background. Funny, I saw the profile of a pig with its little legs sort lifting up to its snout. The brown area looks like its ear! You never fail to find interesting objects and work them to really enhance them. Super! |

Like the lines and other geometrics. The colors and composition are both very pleasing. Agree with Jesse: NICELY DONE! |

The place has so many interesting things. I thought about getting down on the floor on my back BUT was worried I wouldn't be able to get back up. Wouldn't that be embarrassing. Never have been able to stand on my head and not going to even try these days........ |

It may be, lol! Since I was looking straight up I never thought there might be a tilt. Thanks! |

Where are the babies, LOL??? I would open up the shadows a bit more so the birds' eyes are viewable. These might be younger parents as I'm not seeing any breeding plumage. I really like the clouds in the sky, makes for a better scene that a blah sky. Nice photo!

I like the effect on truck and you did do a good job removing assorted stuff. I would dial back the effect on the ground and background as it looks very crunchy to my eye. Lot of character in that truck! |

That dark area not only had noise but the way the plant below the surface appeared it made the area look very distorted. Might be able to lighten it with the overlay intact to keep it somewhat dark but maybe not as dark as it is now. Will give it a try, nothing ventured............

Haven't used any Hahnemuehle papers. Let me know what you think when you do print with it. Wished you were closer, too. We would have a good time. Am doing Mark and Jamie's IR workshop and hoping my skill will improve as most of the time, I'm just interested in pushing a photo to see what I can extract but appreciate your kind comments! |

Thank you! It wasn't any image that I processed initially so I'm happy I gave it a second chance. |

I only work with some elements of CLiR. There are some combos that I just don't like and have no plans to use. I think there are certain pieces of CLiR that are for different spectrums that won't work with 720nm but that's okay. We all have a different tastes. I wet clean my regular cameras, it isn't hard but I was scared to death the first time. Didn't kill the camera so I guess I will attempt to clean the IR one of these days. |

Thanks! I tried various things and threw away a lot of steps. CLiR allows for various colorizations which just didn't work for me BUT it did help get some strong contrast. It has so many things you could do, I just kept some pieces for this. |

This is stunning! For my eye, the background is just that with the cross and steps being the star. I didn't even noticed the sheep at first . I find I like and stick with a couple of things in CLiR but I will experiment just to see what comes about. |

Such a cool shot!!! I think you have a wonderful shot. I can't find anything I would change. Mr. Lee looks quite content in his sea of noodles!!! |

Such an interesting building. Love the simplicity of the landscape. Agree with other in regards to the sky 'streak'. Well done.

I love that tonality that is in the background. Do wish there was more light on the barn and other structures to make them the focal point. It is very easy to overlook them. Really nice scene! |

Interesting looking place! The coloring is not overwhelming, it is pleasant and gives me a peaceful feel. I do think the bottom part (just less than a third) could be cropped off to allow the view to be closer. Strange as this may seem, I like how the reflection rendered in your 3rd view. So I think this might be a good candidate for B&W. Helen's blues and pinks are fabulous but don't think I could come close but what a great goal! |
