It certainly is colorful! You certainly had lots of different lighting to deal with but managed it quite well. Agree this would be a great piece for any sort of patriotic competition or look at any competition in St. Louis! well done! |

I like how you cleaned up the background, in the original it is sort of bland. I like the richer colors in flower. Your creativity is always a marvel! |

I like it! Might look at cropping some off the top as I don't think it adds anything to the photo. I like the swirl but there is a tiny bit that I would have masked off near the flower's center as part of the petal looks a little smudged by it. I think its impact on the outer petals is lovely!! You don't need to show the entire rose for us to see the beauty in it. Nice job, hope you continue down this line! |

Agree with the comments on that branch. I like the scene very much and it looks like a great place to visit. |

Iguanas are freaky, aren't they? Sort of like they are throw backs to the dinosaur age. I have only seen a couple (and that was when I was in Delray) and they were greener than this one. He has a really nice dewlap and I think using vibrance a/o saturation would help bring out some of his coloring. The tree (mangrove?) is very realistic in its color BUT since he is the center of attention, you might want to tone it down. |

Very intesting photo and thanks for the information as to its history. I do find myself looking at all the various textures but agree that I tend to settle on the sink. I don't like the dark twig thing coming out of the sink but think it is attached to the curvy twigs towards the top. I would be tempted to get rid of the straight line and see if the curvy part could remain. |

Echoing April here, you did a GREAT job of getting rid of those people, I like the antique look but would have pulled back on the vignette. I like that Nik preset but think the way it handles the vignette can wash out the photo. Love the ship! |

Great patterns! Think I would crop out the sky and itty bitty clouds completely. Love all the patterns in sand and I would use that as the focal point. Now you have given me and idea to go out and photograph the sand ripples at the beach! Thanks for the inspiration! |

Oh, I really like this! There are some beautiful details in this. The storm looks like it is coming to disturb such a peaceful, tranquil setting. If the storm wasn't bearing down, I would stroll the path and want to sit o one of the benches. Beautiful tree, too!! Very nice! |

I like the building but agree that I think if you had backed up a bit, it would have more impact. Building does look like it is ready to fall down. Nice glow to this!

I like the color palette you selected and think the vignette works well with this. I'm not sure I like the Impasto. Would like to suggest you play around using textures to add some color and in Impressions, you can adjust the brush 'style' to be a bit more delicate which I think might render nicely. |
