Sorry for the plight you are suffering, have seen photos and it is so heartbreaking to see all the dead creatures. This particular photo was to have a small select area of focus, would guess this might be around f/4.0 so my focus would have been primarily on the interior of the flower. The 85 does allow for an increase area of focus but I think it is suppose to produce soft, ethereal looking photos. Hope your side of FL gets some relief. Know some of the biologist are worried we might see some on this side |

I have had two encounters with sharks, was walking the beach when a surfer got bit (he was even in deep water) and watched a shark chase a kayaker in the Inlet. AND we have had alligator decide to take a dip on my beach. Always something unique happening in FL!! |

Beautiful lighting! The woman and the window view are exceptional. I do agree with Jesse's assessment of the white objects (look likes something is staring down) and the shiny things in the foreground. |

Lovely!! I like what you have done and because I really don't know how big this bridge really is I accept the size of the rider; however, if I were to spent any time analyzing it, I would recognize the bridge railing are not below the midline of the bike's wheels and the rider is way too large (plus I think there may be a vehicle on the bridge right in front of the cyclist). Still like it!!! |

Love this perspective!! The legs of the ferris wheel remind me od drinking straws and you have a great sky. Jesse's idea of flipping may make this even stronger. Well done!! |

Nice job!! Mr Tiger is quite regal looking!! If you want to proceed with Priscilla's idea, it would be doable, if not I would may be bring down the green that is close to his face. Which zoo is he in???

This is probably photojournalistic and checks all the boxes for that style. Being me, I would have to work on it, lol. Do think it could loss a bit of the bottom and not lose the impact of the destruction that the building went through. Think Jesse's idea of lightening a few areas would help to bring more detail out as well. |

Yes, you can! I managed an outing yesterday and photographed dolphins with babies AND really cool baby pelicans!!! When I sick I tend to photograph flowers because I can do them inshort intervals and throw software tricks at them.

Thanks! I have a collection of lensbabies and think they are so much fun. This was special because I have been fighting a form of bacterial pneumonia and had not been able to spend a lot of time shooting. This was one of my first extended outings!! One thing about being inside was I could learn more techniques and experiment with software.

I use glows in both On1 and Topaz. They both can achieve different looks. Like the idea of darkening down some of the areas. Sharon, you are quite fabulous in your photography and so humbled that you consider me something of a muse. I enjoy exploring where i can take a photo. With the various softwares we have available, there is no limit to where we can go!!! |

I may have to figure out a way to tint the sky to different color of blue. I suspect I can play around with a different blrnd mode and maybe a color overlay to get there. |

I think the 15mm wasn't the best choice for this view but it was all I had with me at the time other than a macro lens. I am becoming a big fan of IR and actually place in a recent competition with a B&W IR photo. I might try this shot again with a different lens. Though nothing is in bloom in this, it is a lovely little rose garden. |

I wasn't able to get more separation of the blues but I did add to the clouds and somehow I added a reddish color to some areas. Need to continue experimenting I guess. |

I tried reducing the opacity of the "color layer" but it didn't help BUT i decided to alter blend modes. I also cropped more of the bottom off . I do like that this has more of a glow. |

Another wonderful fairy tale scene!!! If you sign up and watch any of the Topaz webinars, they will send you a discount code or just wait until Thanksgiving for a deeper discount. The part above importing into a Panasonic confuses me but wahtever you did, this is beautiful!!! |

I like how you processed this and the removal of the vine was smart but agree the grasses on the left should be taken out. I really like the sky but do wish there had been a method of getting more mountains view in.

What an intersting story! Have you considered cropping this to more of a portrait to remove the back end of the other colt. I know some folks abhor throwing away pixels. Think the idea of a vignette would work, too!! |

What an interesting lighthouse. The only thing I might try is to somehow soften down everything but the lighthouse. I find myself moving all over this and not really settling on the lighthouse which is so cute. When I look at the original I am drawn right to the light house. Neat looking!! |

I like and the sky doesn't bother me a bit. One thing I might do is just a bit of a burn to bring out that wonderful crashing wave. I like the foreground as is. Good job!

I think this is absolutely stunning! I don't think there is anything that can be improved upon. I do think Stuart gave you solid advice on the tombstones BUT I didn't notice them until I read his comments. Love it still! |
