I like it! The shadows from the grass really adds to the interest and the partial circles are cool. Nicely done. |

Wonderful job dealing with the background and the leaves around the orchid. I think both versions work very well. |

You have a solid image and Lisa's treatment certainly gives a big pop! Sometimes pushing the image yields nice results. This might be a great photo for a HDR treatment, too. |

Thanks, I jumbled up my folders from GA so I'm not quite sure where I took this. Agree with crop recommendations but I might take another end run at this one. I have a couple from the GA workshop that I revisit. Understand the appeal of those baoats a bot more, now, lol! |

This is gorgeous! The fact you handheld is just amazing! There is a beautiful ethereal feel to this for me. Just love, won't change a thing and think it is perfection!

I like the photo. There does appear to be a bit of pipe in the bottom right edge. Don't know what it is so I think it could be cloned out as well as what likes like a snale or dome sort of serpent on the left (not quite the middle). Love the clouds and overall, really enjoy the photo!

Wish you had excluded the piece of truck and made those background elements more of the subject in this photo. Very stark landscape. Some elders will allow you to photograph them but most are wary of outsiders. I had Navajo "family" in Arizona. This photo makes me sad when I think how some (most all) were treated.......... |

I like the sepia effect but I, too, feel that the light vignette takes too much away from this photo. I like the crop and how it brings the remnant of the fence and the tools into a nice balance. Wonder if working with contrast might help bring the details a bit more into view. Another thought wough be perhaps just a scant vignette if you are partial to it.

Very serene. I like the delicate clouds and wonder what if anything thy might add if they had a little more presence. I looked at Sharon's version and like how some of the shadows seem a bit more open. I absolutely love the reflections and all the details you have captured. The color is a personal preference, it should be wht makes you happy. Will say that I think Sharon's lighter version adds to the overall serenity of the photo. Thanks for making me thing about colorization of IR. Most of what I do is B&W so this gives me something to think about........ |

I really like how this is processed. Looking at what looks like enddless gravestones has an immense impact on the viewer. The tolls of war have taken a heavy price, I think this does show a solemnity quite well. Nicely done!

Thanks! Some times I seem so determined to do something (like remove the piece of dock) that I don't see what seems to be so obvious (too much empty space), lol! I think I cropped at least three times to get the tighter look. When I put a s-curve on it, I liked it but wasn't trusting myself. I had wish the sky was more interesting with clouds so I was really surprised by the brighter look. Then I started questioning if the blacks were too heavy. Appreciate the input! |

Okay, I tightened the crop amd add some more contrast with an s-curve. Do you think it is too bright? I have been asked to do a gallery show and I think this might be good photo to use but I want it to really shine since it is for a very good friend...... |
