I have been fortunate here recently in capturing bitterns. I like the crop but both are fine photos. Of course, you won over immediately because it was a bird, lol!! Oh and good job! |

I like it!! LOTS!! There are lots of wonderful textures and great lines in this photo. Will say it looks more steampunk than early settler to me. Don't think marred sunglasses with goggles were worn by any settler's but I still think he is pretty cool! |

I like it! My only comment is that I do wish you would make you photos a bit larger so I could see it better, Lovely flower, lovely work.

Agree that there seems to be a bit of a tilt to this photo. I do like Shaikh Amin's version of it. Very picturesque and worthy of being photographed! |

I agree with Allen's comment that a non photographer would really like it. As a photographer, i think you did a good job and accomplished what you wanted. One thing that might make a difference (at least for me) is the edge where the barn meets the ground is too defined. Grass naturally grows up along a building and nobody would be whacking down on a farm and it looks like you did some. I would a bit more and try not to make the grass/ground so level. I think this is well on its way to being perfect! |

The background was a cloudless sky. He was ruffling his feathers and his "ear" feathers were blowing in the wind. I was shooting with some big glass so I was positioned lower than he was and only trying to get his face sharp. Crop out some sky but body wasn't touched. |
