I agree about doing with that empty space. I feel like it is a hole that I'm going to fall into and not return. It is an interesting effect that's for sure. I would play around with some different crops or try filling in the blank areas with more leaves to give this a better balance. |

I really like this! It looks like it is FUN with all the brightness and I like the colors of it a great deal. I think this is a place I would want to visit. I like the lamp post with its flag. The only thing that I might try is to straighten the scene a bit. To my eye, everything has a slight lean. Might see what a touch of contrast might buy (I think I might like more vibrance to the flags) but I like color. Well done!

I love lens babies! I do wish you had posted a bigger photo as I really can't see much of this photo. Do like the colors. I have a friend who photographed some flower with similar colors and used the mixer brush to further blend and it turned out to be a stunning piece. |

Once I looked hard at the photo I tend to agree with the remarks on the post processing. I do like the photo in a smaller version where it seems to be a better blended affect. I think I should try printing some of these to see if they work or not. Funny how easy it is to change ones perspective! |

I didn't look at the bird in a larger format but on my 13" laptop. Once I did, I agree with your comments. I don't like big but that is how we learn so I will continue my experimentation on other photos!

This is not an expensive lens with 2 extenders and the telephoto lens, I have $1600 invested. I have more expensive telephotos but the Tamron I can hand hold. I really wanted to save for a 600 prime but I like to have food and roof over my head, too. The Sigma Contemporary has gotten excellent reviews and I have several friends who are really getting some fabulous shots. You can pick one of those up for under $1000. Maybe Santa will bring you one!!

I do like your color contrast! Wish the focal lengthen extended just a little further back and agree about the third flower would be nicer as a whole. The leaf line really does bother me as a matter fact, I really had a hard time identifying it. It would be easy to remove or try blurring a bit more so that it blends into the scene. Overall, I like this very much!

You did a good job of straightening the fence and remove your knees from the photo. There is a nice "shine" in spots, too! Bet this is the best security fence in the competition! Good luck. |
