When I first saw this, I didn't even notice the mountains. I was fixated on the green and the little white dots! Once I read your description, I saw the mountains. For me, the left side and middle work but I think the area on the right might be "out of balance". Never having seen a sky or mountains like this; not for sure, but I might soften the edge of the mountain on the right so it blends with the sky a bit more. That top edge on the right just throws me. Hope this make sense. Really like the green light!!! |

What an interesting angle for a the plant to grow! I like how the big plant color and the little plant were improved with your adjustments. I think I might have masked the background and the ground as they appear a little too green to me. You always take such unique photos! |

The sky is great!!! There looks like there might be a bit of a "hot spot" in it that i would try to tone down a bit and I might do a wee bit of dodge and burn to bring out some more detail in those wonderful clouds. I really like how you chose to photograph the water in the fountain. I really think keeping the spray sharp works well and the detail in the fountain is great, too! Well done! |

WOW!! Wonderful capture. They are very fast little birds. I wouldn't change anything on this. You should consider putting this one into competition! I'm in bird heaven this month between you and Jesse!!! |

Very nice portrait of a limpkin! He has a nice catch light to his eye. Did you know that the limpkin was hunted to almost extinction for the feather trade? Glad to see they are making a come back. Well done, throw him an apple snail! |

First, I really love all the textures and lines to this! I don't think it is "middle of the road" one bit. I would play around with it just a bit more. One thing that might work is to try a little cropping, I would look at removing some of the left side and perhaps some of the top. The building has a wonderful symmetry that I think you could enhance. i always have an internal debate when dealing with historical structures about removing items from my photos but I do find the white "papers" (one above the "20" and the other on the post (?)) a tiny bit distracting. Not sure if I would remove the "20" or not. Food for thought! Will say your photo makes me think I would like to see this in person do and I bet you could process this several ways to have an outstanding photo! |
