9 Jan 17 Reply I looked at B&W for this photo but the sky really didn't translate any better. When I added the texture, it seemed to pull the photo together. Jan 26th

9 Jan 17 Reply Sorry, I heard the explanation in my brain and it didn't quite translate to my fingers! The sky was void of color and/or clouds, It was just bland. There must have been sufficient light to create the shadows (guessing after 10:00 am). Think I just put a texture on top of the image and mask out some of it. I do think it helped! Jan 26th
9 Jan 17 Reply I didn't want to lose any detail from the heron which is why I didn't take the overall exposure down but I may be able to darken just the background. Might be fun to try. Jan 26th
9 Jan 17 Comment Lovely colors, lines and textures! I might have try to ease the shadows a bit and rid the photo of the tower(?) that is way off in the background. Didn't notice it at first but now I can't unsee it, lol!

9 Jan 17 Comment Very different! There is a bit of blue near the driver's window that I would tone down as for me, it seems to be out of balance with the rest of the sky. The foreground grasses seem a little crunchy to me but it seems to go with the photo. Jan 26th

9 Jan 17 Comment Agree with the suggestions on the crop (think I would try to balance the sides). Like the sculpture and your B&W. If you want to try to mask out some more of the background, bet these would look great against a black background. Jan 26th
