50 Oct 21 Comment Hello Mary Ann. Welcome! :) I like both images. I like the original for it's capture of the beautiful sea blues and greens and well as some rich browns. Your choice of the panoramic cropping for your black and white is really beautiful and makes it a stronger more intense image. I feel the crashing of the wave and the rigidity and sharpness of the rocks. Opening up the details slightly in the rocks would only add to your photo. Oct 15th
50 Oct 21 Comment Hello Chuck. I love how the ice looks like clouds. It feels ethereal to me...especially in the color version which I really enjoy. The colorful reflections, for me, emphasize the ethereal/celestial quality that I find really successful and beautiful. I love the black background and like a more subdued surface for the glass to sit upon. So to complicate things I like the glass and background from your first original and the more subdued colors of the table in the 2nd original. I might even like the glass to be on a flat one color/hue surface. Nice capture of light and reflection. Oct 15th
50 Oct 21 Comment Hello Cindy. I love this kind of portraiture. It's authentic and reflects both the true vision of who the person is not only as a facade or physical presence but as a soul. I want to do more work in this area and as intimately...in close up. I also like that this kind of portraiture looks so beautiful in black and white. The eyes are amazing. I, personally, really like your creative choices. Oct 15th
50 Oct 21 Comment Hello Lorna. I really like the perspective you chose in taking you photo. The result is very dynamic and interesting. Your abstract reminds of looking up at trees in a forest and their intertwining branches. I really enjoy all the lines in the original contributing to and enhancing the chosen perspective. You could, if you choose, take the abstract further and layer and blend the image with trees or whatever and wherever your creative heart desires. :) Oct 15th
50 Oct 21 Comment Hello Paul.;)I love how you captured the translucency of the lilies. They feel so gentle and light especially, I think, against the darker background. The photos give different interpretations and both are beautiful. I might get rid of the brighter leaf spot just to the bottom right of the cascade if using the darker background but that's a minor detail and personal opinion. Oct 15th
