Thank you for the welcome. The one head bothered me too. What you mean by "cone out?" |

I enjoy that I am seeing something for the first time therefore it brings up a lot of questions in my mind. I like the tighter cropping. I wish there were people around it working it so I could see it in action and understand it's purpose. It makes me look at it's parts and think up scenarios of what it might do. A provocative photo is good. The eagle is nice but not necessary and may detract a bit. Great. |

I would keep your original orientation and cropping. Off center is stunning, dynamic and the very nature and flow of the nautilus shell. Also, the detailing of the right side...especially the upper right side...is both subtle and beautiful. Have you ever seen a piece of Larimar? It is a sea blue stone found only in the Dominican Republic and the luster, webbing and fracturing reminds me of the details in your picture. Wonderful competition piece. |

I enjoy a photo where motion is captured just right and in the intention the photographer set out to get. I like that you did that here. Wow. And the monochrome gives this shot an old time feel which I love. |

I enjoy the vantage point and cropping of this photo. I also enjoy the natural curves and shoreline. I like the mood too and agree with the darkening of the black and white while exploring more of the tonal range. And I like your original orientation. There seem to be a lot of creative choices for a sky here. |

I enjoy the extra large still life nature of your photo. I also enjoy the complementary colors of your original. I like the increased darkening in the black and white. I might be a bit gentle in my sky manipulations as too dynamic a sky could detract from the "still life." Beautiful. |

I truly enjoy the textures brought out in your monochrome photo. I also like the dirt, grime and rust in the color photo and think the same editing choices would be great. Beautiful. |
