Wonderful action shot - love the expression on the lady's face. I can see whyt she would win the argument.
Copping out the right person would give a different feel to the image. I'd leve the person there so to me, it gives the feel of me looking over their shoulders at the scene unfolding. If you take the right person out, then the lady shifts to the right somewhat and may unbalance the image in my mind.
I think the busy background is OOK but maybe darken it a bit to help keep the eyes on the main sene. |

Amazing back story and very much appreciated - thank you. I enjoy learning about other cultures.
There are so many wonderful aspects to your image. While the haze does limit visibility, I think it also adds an element of immenseness to the scene and that adds to the story.
The crowd looks very calm and there doesn't seem to be any unruliness. I can sense that the spiritual is real and honoured. |

Thanks Prasad. Re the view, I shot this at 55mm, could have gone down as low as 24mm but it would have shown a couple of elements further down the walkway that I didn't want in the image (the cannon was aimed over the water) |

Great image - and excellent timing. I can see the dolphin catching and enjoying the meal. Great composition as well.
I took your image into PS and applied a curve adjustment to darken the shadows area a tad and then took that into Viveza (one of my fav apps) and added structure to better show detail and also added a bit more contrast. As usual, what works for me may not resonate with your vision. Just my attempt to address the lighting. |

Very cool image, like the sea smoke a lot!
When I view your image I get the feeling of unused space on the left side of the image. I think a bit of cropping can help. In my VF I show my attempt at it. I copped up from the bottom to the rocks and left the rocks in the image (removing them leaves in my view an awkward layout with little water at the bottom. I also cropped in from the left to position the ship on the left 1/3 line and also cropped the top just a bit. Just my suggestion and I find that cropping can be very personal so what works for me may not work for you.
It looks like a very chilly morning there and capturing the ship as it appears was well timed. |
