Thank you Prasad. It was a very gloomy and late afternoon shot. The ISO and shutter speed settings were (I'm embarrassed to admit) what I used on a previous shot and I didn't bother to adjust to more appropriate settings. There was a stiff wind so the shutter speed does make sense somewhat as I didn't want any movement showing in the distant shrubs and the ISO was needed to get that shutter speed (I really didn't want to use a lower aperture). The sky in my image bears almost no resemblance to the actual sky. I spent a lot of time working on it. |

I just tried it - thanks for the idea. I like it! It enabled me to get rid of the footprints and also put more focus on the sky. |

I did, and I played a bit with the Blur filters in PS but didn't see a look I liked. I'd love to know how to remove the footprints. |

I think this is a great image. The lemon looks so real that I can almost taste it.
Regarding your comment on shutter speed, I like how the bubbles look. Yes, a shorter shutter would have given more definition but they look fine in this image. What I would like to see s a bit more detail in the lemon, especially the white / yellow pulp area between the outer rind and the inner lemon fruit.
The dark background really works and makes the yellows stand out.
Congrats on tryng something new and being successful. |

There is a lot to look at in this image and I find myself looking all around it. I like how the dock acts a bit of a leading line to the city center.
The colours are really well done.
If I could offer one suggestion, it might be nice to have a bit more sky at the top of the image. The mountain almost touches the top edge and there appears to be a statue on top of the mountain that is crowding the top. |

Boy oh boy, this is a traffic jam of Sandhill Cranes. Love it. The colours are nice and soft and has a really nice delicate touch.
A bit more depth of field might be nice to have more sharpness deeper into the gang of cranes. Just my opinion.
This is a lovely image. |

Fantastic image - something about Sunflowers makes me smile. Love how they are nice and sharp front to back. The green foliage is perfect.
The sun is awfully bright which draws my eyes. I really don't know how you could have done this and not had the sun in the image.
Very well done! |
