82 Apr 22 Comment This is a wonderful shot and resultant image - well done! I find the out of focus bottom left corner a bit distracting but I really don't know what you could do to fix or compensate for it. Beautiful sharpness, and this is a pleasure to look at. Apr 10th
82 Apr 22 Comment I think you did a very nice job in cropping the image. My limited experience with hummingbirds is that they don't sit for very ling, so very nice job capturing him. The bird itself is rather dark, in the shadows I suspect, and this shot looks to be a very difficult one where exposure bracketing would have helped a lot. I guess it's a bit unrealistic to hope to have enough time to do it. Could lightening the birds in post-processing helped? Apr 10th
82 Apr 22 Comment Looks like the owl needs a strong cup of coffee (or maybe that's not a yawn, but a squawk). Very nicely focused and I love the positioning of the owl in the image. The background is nicely soft, but the bright white background behind the owl's head is a bit distracting to my eyes. All in all, an interesting image to look at. Apr 10th
82 Apr 22 Comment I like the composition and the colours in this image. It looks like the heron is in a field of grasses and wild flowers. I'm used to seeing them in, or close to water. Te person, with I think ice the subject, appears to be slightly out of focus. Not sure if it was far away and this is a crop. I would have enjoyed a sharper image. Apr 10th
