I've had some very good feedback on this image - thank you all! I've cropped it a bit and also straightened the horizon (geeeze, I should never have missed that!). |

LuAnn, thank you so much for your kind words re my creative tree. I was a bit uncertain if I should submit that image so I appreciate your feedback. Also appreciate your comments on my ocean scene. Thanks! |

Such a great shot. I really like how you positioned the sun. To your point, yes, a bit lower and moved a bit to the right to get the sun lower in the cutout of the ice would have been nice, but this looks great as is. A bit more sharpness in the ice particles would have helped the image in my mind. With a F22 aperture, maybe move your focal point down the ice, which I believe would have put your focus point on the ice that is closer to you and hopefully still kept the rest of the ice in focus. |

Very colourful image and congrats on your new Z9! To my eye, the top left petunia looks out of focus. Was your focal point the middle flower and the top left one was that much closer that it was soft? Also, the bottom right flower doesn't seem as full of colour as the others. I must say that having shovelled snow a few days ago, it is very nice to see such a picture with the blooms. |

Love your story behind this image and it really helps me appreciate the image. I don't know how this would have turned out in colour but it sure works monochrome. For me, the man is key and his expression and body position are so well captured. The lighting is excellent and very dark inside of the room helps drive my eyes to the man. Wonderful image! |

Really like the sharpness of the front stork. Looks like there are blown out whites in the other 2 storks. I don't think it's a big issue as they are somewhat out of focus so I'm drawn back to the front one. Love the colours and also the reflections. I really like your composition. It's a lovely scene and I'd never guess it was behind a grocery store. |

Interesting image and I think you did very well to control the reflections. I can see a bit of noise in the sly but I really don't think that detracts from the image. I always enjoyed looking out the window as we were taking off or landing, and trying to identify landmarks. This image sure brings back those memories. |
