I'd also keep the trees, they frame the person and the ship perfectly. What a story this image conjures up in my mind. There is a whole novel in this one shot. Fantastic image! |

I've been to Skagway (drove there from Whitehorse) and that whole area is so pretty. There is so much scenery that it can be overwhelming. I do like your 2nd version over the 1st, looks a bit more natural. The background mountains are framed very nicely by the mid ground hills and the foreground with the water draws me in. This is an image I'd frame and hang in my office. |

Agree with the others, very beautiful image.For me, the main point is the look of the image. I really like the post-processing effect you achieved. Not quite 100% reality but oh so close and yet such a captivating look. I see a "painterly" appearance and I really like the end result you achieved. |

This is a wonderful image, love the fall colours and the sharpness of it. I'm a bit different as I'd like to see how this looks without the bus. For me there is something compelling or enticing about an empty road (oor pathway) that seems to call out to me to travel down it. |
