Great focus, detail, textures, shape, lines / curves, color. Agree the original background was hopeless. Nice job masking the teapot. I agree bright, contrasty, swirling background is too busy. My eye drifts to the swirling images that flow throughout the background. I realized that I had spent a lot of time in the background and had to force myself to focus on the teapot, which I really like. The teapot is beautiful, a simple mono background will let it shine. I think a black background would pop the teapot off the screen and highlight its subtle design and beautiful colors. |

Great call to go with the silhouette with the sunset glow. Classic southwest shadows. Not sure what is causing the banding in the sky, perhaps an artifact of the reduced file size. I suggest that you correct the perspective. You will lose some of the image on the sides but should be able to save the cactus on the right. Also, I find the branches on the right distracting and would try to clone those out to give the cactus a clean edge. Finally, with a clean edge, extending the image border is simple in Photoshop using content aware cropping, but do not know about other software. Agree this would make a great print / poster. |

Not sure what all that processing means but I like it a lot! The colors work very well together, and the image is filled with interesting lines, curves, and shapes. |

I can imagine sitting in the shade with a cool beverage, watching the cloud drift by. There is some pink showing in the upper cloud. The histogram is pushed to the left side showing high levels of blue and red. Perhaps oversaturated? You could try contrast as Jack suggests. |

Interesting conversion from nature to manmade, complete wtih water drops. I like the colors, patterns and texture. Suggest a more aggressive crop. The primary subject is in the right half of the image. The left side is background, and a large part of the lower left corner is very dark. |
