Beautiful maple leaf color! Kudos for pushing the bounds of creativity!!! Up front, I also prefer Original 2 image. I looked at this image for a long time, and came back to it several times. The car adds an element of unknown / tension - it begs for an explanation / story. I find the image more "restful" without the car. I find the painterly effect interesting and pleasant in the trees, but I do not prefer the texture on the ground. Finally, I do not know why, but the perspective of the small lens bothers me in this photo - trees on the foreground right and left midground leaning toward the center. |

Very interesting! Did not understand what you were doing at first. Pretty cool. Amazing what the cell phone cameras can do. Great color, shapes, and depth. I suggest a tighter crop at the top to remove the two partial fish. A decrease in highlights might temper the blow outs, and I would try to do something (clone, healing brush, etc.) with the reflections of light fixtures and light reflections on the floating orangish material. You inspired me to try this. |

Very nice! I like the contrast of the delicate flower stamens with the rough, weathered wood grain. The plant background is a little busy. Just a couple of nits. Consider decreasing shadows to darken the vegetation and highlight the delicate flowers. Unfortunate there isn't just a little more space for the flower on the left side. Happy holidays to you and yours. |

Jack - Proof that a "simple" composition can be a great image. Very nice texture, beautiful color, and look at those leading lines. Appears to be the perfect time of day. Nice composition - like the hint of the dune in the upper right, offset by the dark shadow of the hill. Well done!! |
