Hi Leslie. Thanks for taking the time to evaluate my Elk image. I cropped close since their butts didn't seem to add anything, but the original image does have the whole of the elks, so I can try including the whole of the trio to see if it's better. As far as separation between the three, the story I wanted to portray is their snuggling together for warmth, and I doubt I'd be able to separate them from a different angle anyway. Happy Holidays, Ingrid |

Thanks, Tom! I'll try blurring the background a bit to see if it is an improvement.

Thanks, Karen. I'll try running a levels adjustment on this image to see if it corrects the blue hue on the snow.., Happy Holidays! |

Hi Kamal. I love the overall composition of this shot with the patterns and texture of the fields framing the action in the middle. I also found it difficult to understand exactly what is taking place, so your description is essential for the viewer to appreciate the significance of the scene. I always enjoy the glimpses you share of life in your part of the world. Thanks!! |

Hi Erin. Your handling of this image is great. The crop and desaturation of the background really brings the viewer's attention to the subject and her total concentration. I wouldn't change a thing! |

Hi Tom. This is definitely a very interesting image and a great concept. As mentioned by others, I would try to simplify it by eliminating the random branches st the bottom and the smaller branch in the upper left. That way the viewer would concentrate their attention on the primary seated bird and the diving sequence, which is the point of your presentation. |

Hi Tom. I love every thing about this image, the composition, the dreamy painterly feel, the lovely pink clouds. I think the idea of a vignette in the upper corn might help, but overall, I think you've done an outstanding job . |

Hi Darcy.this is a very interesting image and I love the interplay of the light and shadows. My only suggestion would be to crop in closer to the subject of the yellow leaf and the berries, eliminating the yellow leaf and the berries st the top. |

I also agree. This one is a lovely portrait. Your depth of field is perfect and her red shirt contrasts nicely with the green background. My only nit picky suggestion would be to clone out the stray hairs that go out of the frame on the left. Great job! |
