14 Oct 22 Reply Thanks, Tom. I'll try your luminance suggestion. Oct 23rd
14 Oct 22 Comment Hi Kamal. I love this image and don't have any suggestions for improvement. The silhouetted figures tell a great story and I especially like the figure capturing the scene with a cellphone! Oct 23rd
14 Oct 22 Comment Hi Xiao. I think the adjustments that you made based upon Tom's suggestions are great snd I don't have any additional recommendations, great post processing! Oct 23rd
14 Oct 22 Comment Hi Tom. This image has a great feeling to it and I like the monochrome treatment with a blue cast. The very sharp droplets of water are perfect and certainly add to the success if the image. I like the fact that the composition is well balanced with the two open blooms balanced by the three closed buds. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more space at the top above the middle flower which is now very close to the edge of the frame. Oct 23rd
14 Oct 22 Comment Hi Greg. This is a nice portrait and captures the moment very well. I agree with the others that I bit more room on the left in front of the subject would be beneficial. Oct 23rd
14 Oct 22 Comment I think is a very effective group portrait and I love being able to see the lovely hair arrangements in the reflection. I think darkening the very light area in the upper left pulls the viewer away from the subject and that darkening it would be helpful. Oct 23rd

61 Oct 22 Reply Thanks, Shirley. I wasn't very enthusiastic about this result, so your comments help solidify my thoughts. Thanks! Oct 23rd

61 Oct 22 Reply Thanks, David. I had to think about this as well, and almost didn't submit it, so I appreciate your thoughts! Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Reply Thanks, Randall. Although, I enjoyed trying to create an interesting abstract out of this image, I'm not sure that I am happy with the result, so that appreciate your comments. Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Comment The colors of this image are beautiful and I love the dreamy quality. I think I prefer the one without the spider, but it's such a subjective issue and the spider does provide a point of interest. This image would make an amazing silky fabric for many uses. Dahlias are such a treasure trove of colors and patterns! Thanks for sharing this Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Comment It's so fun to see the various techniques that have been used to create 'abstracts' out of normal images. I like the patterns you have created, although I prefer the color palette of the original. It's all so subjective though and I think you have been successful in creating a impactful abstract! Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Comment I love how the post processing you used turned a lackluster image into a beautiful 'orb' . You should check out the Facebook page 'the nature of orbs'. I played with this technique a lot a few years ago and the end result is always a surprise. Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Comment You have created a great atmosphere in your processing of this dandelion image, but I think I actually like your original image better because the white dandelion is so sharp against the jumbled background. The definition of 'abstract' is difficult to quantify, but I like what you have captured in any case! Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Comment The colors and shapes in the image are great and I think have successfully created a very strong abstract. Oct 23rd
61 Oct 22 Comment This is a great image and I wouldn't change s thing! Oct 23rd
