I have tried darkening each fence post and that helps. I've also introduced a large time piece as Kym suggested and I've sent it to another group in GB which provides marks for prints and I'll await their generosity or otherwise. I'll also try a different background but I do find choosing something suitable is hard. Thanks. |

That's a brilliant idea. I shall search my back catalogue for a large time piece of suitable age and insert it. Big thank you! |

I didn't mind the bright petals as they stand out so well from the background. Not only can you grow them, but you have enough to cut one for a photo! If mine bloomed, I would be so pleased that I'd never dare to cut one! |

I meant to ask, what does MOMA stand for? |

I'm not a dog fan - I like cats- but this dog looks deeply suspicious to me. It's the sort of look I get from my cat when he's trying to work out if I'm going to administer the hated pill yet again. He has to have 1 and a half pills a day for the rest of his life and he's not happy about the idea! |

Have you any suggestions as to how I can lose the bag? I tried cloning over it and it looked awful. I tried cropping above it but that cut through their knees and I tried darkening which just seemed to make it more obvious! |

That's quite weird. I didn't realise that the tower was just a small extension off the ground . Did anyone ever attack the fort?

As ever, I am so impressed that you can get your orchids to flower every year. My single plant is steadfast in its refusal to produce a flower. I like the dark background and the light on the cut glass of the vase. I wondered if the edge of the wooden table needs to be darkened down a little especially as it cuts the left frame If you could make it the same darkness as on the right? I also found the double shadow on the table top a little distracting, so maybe darken the triangle of lighter wood. Once you've seen the shadow you keep coming back to it I felt. |

There's something odd in the picture. I think that it appears to lean towrds the left, because the wall edge meets the frame at a higher point on the right. I hadn't realised it was a window in the centre-it looked like a plaque on the door, rather than a view through the door. The texture on both wall and stairs is well rendered. perhaps to keep one's attention, it needs a young lady artfully draped across the steps! |

I think if I hadn't seen the whole image, I would have been happy with just the two figures. Since I approve of the sentiment, it speaks to me. Seeing the whole gives a setting for the action- a busy street with people intent on getting across a message. The two children in the pushchair made me smile because the woman is far too old to have produced them. Maybe she is Granny! I think I prefer the colour scene because it appears brighter and the two have both a red hat and a yellow sign so they stand out well. I did think the woman on the right had a Tshirt which was a bit too noticeable so maybe tone that down. |

This is very odd because where the rainbow colours appear -for eg on the bottom right edge - it has translated into lines as if the bubble has solidity. I'm not sure whether it should be in mono but maybe this is an image which could be used as a starting point for an experimental picture. When I studied it some more, it does have solidity all over -it looks a bit like a knobbly potato sailing through the air! |

I think I agree. The colour shows the dog's coat as a warm tint so if you like dogs, it is more representative of the breed. It isn't a shot for an exhibition, but I'm sure the owner would like it on the wall. Good eye contact, but his left ear (on the right) is disappearing into the darkness behind. Could you bring out a little more so there is a defined edge to the ear? |
