I have extended the canvas -after going to various Utube videos and adapting them to this complex area and it looks better. then I brightened the centre and darkened the outer edges in Nik and i am entering in new comps. Thanks for the suggestions from you and Jennifer |

I am always amazed at how much simple dodging and burning can improve an image so effectively. |

How did using the stamp tool move the eyes? |

Yes, i think this is a smashing shot. It's much better as a mono and you've brought out the detail very well indeed. I like the lightened flag and the detail on the blackboard. The border is complementary to the image and the yellowed finish does give the added impression of age. Using HDR and a burn layer seems to have restored the detail through the windows as well. I have some schoolroom images I should go back to I think and try them in mono. |

Great portrait of the bald eagle. Even in GB where we don't usually submit portrait style bird pictures, I can applaud this one! The details of the feathers are very good and I think it's much better than the colour version. Super! |

A nice candid shot of the boys. It's odd that some are looking at you and some off to the left. Were they waving to someone or keeping the sun out of their eyes?
The tones look good on my monitor although I think both the colour and mono are equally as good as each other. |
