Thank you Tom for your response. Makes things a bit clearer for me as regards inclusion of people in a landscape image. Also many thanks on working on the image to bring out the orange in it. |

Thank you Butch for your inputs and efforts in improving the image. Looks much better and the blues have improved. I will make the same changes in my image. |

Wow...so much feedback on a lady applying lip stick...I am obviously a babe in the woods....never thought of it as being dark or evil or going out for a rendezvous....!!! I like the image the way it is...the elbow or the mark on her face or the slightly dark patch on her right hand under her fingers do not bother me. Super image Butch...and so much spur of the moment thinking....I have had mixed luck with ladies agreeing to pose for me... |

Super image Judith. Like what Tom and Butch have done to improve the image. I like the overall softness of your image. How far were you placed when you shot this image? I am surprised that they did not trot off if you were in a vehicle....perhaps they have become accustomed to vehicular traffic. |

Lovely image Barbara. I like Tom's suggestion and Butch again seems to be having a problem...?? I can see two horses rather than your birds. I played around a bit in PS to emphasise the birds and reduced the fence as Tom suggested. Would have liked to know the other settings when you shot this image. |

What a nice image. Like most others I am new to this. Such interesting and diverse comments from the group members. Super....so many ideas and so much to learn. I wanted to do something with the image and tried darkening the green a bit so that the yellow pops out. It also enhances the vortex that Judith was referring to. I hope you like it. A great image to start with. |

Such a soothing and calm image, taking us to simpler times. Very pleasant image and you framed it so well. I like what Butch has done in brightening and saturating it a bit. I had one query. You used aperture of 6.3. If it was bright and you used a relatively higher ISO would a lower opening of say 11 or 13 have not given you a more landscape kind of feel? Just trying to understand your thought process. Thank you. |
