Wow Butch. I only dream of taking such images. I have tried astro and we simply do not have the terrain to juxtapose the Milky way so dramatically. What I have tried is taking an image of the desert around sunset and then merging the Milky Way(actually quite watery in our part of the world!!) on top of it. What a lovely image you have. You are only 80 years young and I wish you many such adventures but which are safe and allows you to post many such pictures for us to look at. Wonderful. |

Hi Judith. So creative with the vase and the placement of the "bits and pieces:!!! I thought a little bit of contrast would bring the main subjects into focus and bring them out prominently. Increased the contrast and adjusted the light a little bit. I hope you like it or atleast gives you another view point. Well shot. |

Super shot Barbara. All the major points and improvements have been suggested and made to improve the image hugely. Have nothing further to add except the catch light in the bird's eye was well captured. |

Nice nature image Tomi. I like what Judith and Tom have done and what Butch has suggested (I am agnostic between whether the baby is turning left or right). The shadow is great. I am assuming you were in a vehicle and hence this top down view. With a slightly lower angle the image would have been enhanced even more. Well done. |

Love the image Tom. Clear, crisp with the right balance of colour and that ongoing dialogue between the two birds...I love that one seed which is suspended in the air...Sometimes the simplest of images give us so much satisfaction...to take them and to admire them. Thank you for posting. |

Hi Tom, if I remember my rules right if there is a human element which is necessary to show the nature aspects of the image, I suspect it may be acceptable. Just as a bird perched on a telephone cable or a bird nest on a building ledge. But perhaps I am not entirely correct. |

Thank you Tom. Much appreciated. Yes I hope to be able to visit all the museums in the area. It is possibly the highest concentration of world class museums. We already have the Louvre, Guggenheim is under construction and yet a third one whose image I posted. When it rains....it pours. !!! |

Thank you Barbara. Yes the cages and the trees were a distraction. I will remove them. |

Sorry Butch...but my image seems to have acquired a life of its own in the shape of a four legged subject. Can you please repost so I know the changes you have made? Thank you. |
